@@GetHandles for real, expanding from mid-range is tough. I've been a pretty/very good mid-range shooter for years, never can consistently get that 3pt shot. That might be a good video topic.
My problem in my shooting form was thumb flicking, my shots always went to the right and it was bc of thumb flicking. Now i've been working in not using my thumb and i have already seen improvements

My problem is that when I shoot, I can barely manage to hold on to the ball. The ball is so heavy to lift up and IMPOSSIBLE to shoot with one hand. When I shoot with two hands, it isn't as accurate. Thumb flick is one of the most inconsistent? Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving 2 examples of consistent shooters
@GetHandles4 жыл бұрын
If you watch their "thumb flick" closely it leaves the ball well before the shooting hand, meaning it's not a true thumb flick. In this video I'm referring to thumb flick on the actual shot. Something I should probably cover in a future video though!
@harrybthyname_4 жыл бұрын
@@GetHandles Oh ok, thank you for clearing that up. While I'm responding to you, I am going to ask if you can do a video on ball handling drills that can help you with your off-the-dribble shooting. How can i prevent arm injurys when i shoot?
@uncledrew24304 жыл бұрын
However I think you should mention that if you have a guide hand thumb flick and you don’t have left to right misses, you shouldn’t change it. Great shooters like Curry, Kyrie, and Trae Young have thumb flicks that don’t affect their shots.
@GetHandles4 жыл бұрын
If you watch their "thumb flicks" their thumb comes off the ball well before the shooting hand so it isn't technically a thumb flick
