Am I getting this right? So we go from flexed at address, to extended (and tilted) on backswing, move back thru to flexed again in order to extend and tilt again at the finish. Boom!
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton2 жыл бұрын
Happens fast but most golfers are in need of the changing of the knee flex and extension.

The pandemic has given me time to get back to the game of golf. Unlike my early 40’s when I had one 6”x4” index card on my swing notes now I have an elaborate collection of notes on the swing. Keeping most of my weight on my left side (60%) is new and interesting. Old school teaches us to be like home run hitters. Maybe Joltin Joe DiMaggio mostly kept his weight on his left side. He had a wide stance like a golfer.
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton4 жыл бұрын
Love Joe DiMaggio! I like to use the kiss method of golf for sure. Let me know how it goes Frank!

Jess, for us senior golfers, could you do a video on how the right equipment can improve our games as seniors. Can different drivers and irons help us? Off the rack acceptable, or do we need custom fitting?
@seanpeacock55954 жыл бұрын
Yes, it can help immensely. For me...... I went in for a club fitting. I told the pro I wanted maximum forgiveness because I don’t swing as precise as I used to. I wanted good distance and height and was open to any Brand in the medium price range. Ended up with Calloway Mavrik Max irons from 5 to SW. I dropped my handicap 3 with them this year. I’m going back in February for a driver SHAFT fitting. They haven’t gained much in driver heads in the last three years but shafts have improved greatly. Good Luck.
@Richkotite1 Жыл бұрын
@@seanpeacock5595 You have to be careful, I've been told it's a bunch of BS, a sales gimmick to sell you up on shafts. I've had custom fitting and I have bought off the shelf and I had way more success with my TM M4 irons off the shelf. Also heard bad stories about club champion.

That was fantastic. Pros like you "crack the whip" adding a ton of speed. Ams do not know how to "crack the whip." Even though they may be hitting the ball first, swinging around their body, etc., they still mostly cast, losing the zippy speed they need to hit longer off the tee, shorter shots into greens which equals lower scores. How to "crack the whip?" That is the question.
@pawinthrop63344 жыл бұрын
I like your tips. You present a new way for me to practice my swing and you make it look easy. I hope it is. A question, do you keep most of your weight on the left side without shifting any weight to the right side? Thank you, Ed Wall
@JessFrankGolfAcademyBocaRaton4 жыл бұрын
Hey Ed! Yes, I tilt and extend which keeps me centered in my golf swing. However, there is some weight that goes into my right heel on the backswing my extending and tilting!
@JustMe-pf9pz4 жыл бұрын
Hey Jess, the issue i run into is. I am LH, I have short arms and and when i extend my left arm, my Right arm cant reach. On top of that my chest is a little larger (due to weight) which makes it that much tougher to get my right arm to extend with my left. Is there a way to help this?

@@denniskline3225 contact is based on the geometry of your tilting staying inclined to the ground with your radius. So it’s a couple of things :)
