I’m not gonna lie I first I wasn’t really sure if it was a good idea to bring Jessica back into cobra Kai by then when I realized that she was the reason why Daniel met Amanda I say the written definitely knew what they were doing cause everything turned out perfect and things to Jessica not only that Daniel met Amanda but she also made Amanda see Terry Silver through evil colors. all the encounters Jessica's had with Terry Silver in the movie have been positive ones... so they must've been in regular contact for Daniel to tell her the whole story about the situation was all Silver's plan... she had bad experience with Mike Barnes.. but not Silver.. but she was shocked when Amanda mentioned his name

It actually makes sense when you think about it. Yeah all of her encounters with Silver have been positive, but she witnessed first hand on how Daniel's training with Silver was changing him. When she met Daniel he was this nice, happy guy & all talked about was how great Mr. Miyagi was & how he always learning something from him. Silver starts training Daniel & he becomes a jerk that would break a guys nose, so with that being she might not have realized that Silver was dangerous (YET), but she did realize that he was not a good influence on Daniel at all & I think she also just had a bad feeling about Silver as well given how he was a total stranger to Daniel yet was very eager for some reason to help him & she always seemed weary of him (just a little). Once Daniel told her about the kind of man that Silver truly was, she might have been shocked but not surprised because it all made sense to her & therefore was easy for her to believe Daniel.
