Cruz is very much in the race and will get just enough #1 votes to get the nomination. Chastain is competing with many other biopic performances in better-received films. In any other year, she might've made it, but this year the competition is too stiff. It'll be Colman, Cruz, Gaga, Kidman and Stewart.

Jessica's Tammy Faye really touched me and I thought she played her with much love, giving her such depth and focusing on what mattered most. I hope she wins the Oscar because it is my favourite performance of the year. Jessica's long overdue for an Oscar and to top it all, she seems like a truly genuine and lovely woman, respectful.

We all love Jessica Chastain, but i gotta say she really deserves all that love on an next level! Because first off, she never really sold out. She did never play any marvel/D.C superhero stuff. I even feel she never even played any real "stereotypical" female types of roles, we often see so many other famous actresses fall into. Both in movies and series. She just take roles that interests her, and that proves her integrity. In my eyes, she's a pure soul, with great amounts of talent and a true god send to the entire movie making business. I love her with all my heart.

Well she did X-Men. She's been immensely privileged to get the option of picking and choosing from all the best projects in the industry. Unlike Rita Moreno, Jessica hasn't HAD to be in schlocky films in order to keep her lights on. A lot of actors do those superhero films because it's the only way to ensure that they stay in the public eye enough so that good scripts can keep coming to them.

The vast majority of actors have to take whatever comes their way, be it a superhero flick or a soap opera. I have that feeling too, but it's only part of Rita's story, most of it is inspired by Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor. But Rita could let go. Marlon is dead, and what else is an interview, changes his mind. He once says it's good that he was angry, and still has a picture of him. If he was so angry, why not throw his pictures out of his house??

Makeup, it was purely and simply the makeup they made her wear. Rita has played a lot of different nationalities but you should hear her do the German accent! It's very good and it's hilarious. Rita is a fantastic actress and I'm confident in saying she could likely do any accent she was asked to do. I love her performance with Animal in the Muppets. Rita is a great singer and Allround performer. Such a shame she wasn't in more movies. I love both movies of Westside Story.
