That's definitely it. Also the cactus can represent strength like another comment said on the teaser. It's such a resilient plant that endures the most difficult conditions and still stands strong and beautiful. But also looking at your comment it also makes sense. Although the cactus isn't delicate like a rise. Although the hedgehog isn't super soft. They both need to be loved and taken care of. In Nov. 2009 they put out a song and video for It's Fantastic (non album single released about the same time as Chocolate Love). No knows the exact reason why they ended up forming TTS later with Taeyeon instead of Jessica (Taeyeon is the stronger singer) but it could be personality clash, or SM was behind it.

You know.... I've been following K-pop sense the mid 1990's and I've seen groups come and go. I remember when SM Entertainment was a very small player in the game just getting started. I have watched all these groups start up and mature but for some reason I have a really deep connection with certain groups. SNSD/Girls Generation is one of them. They kinda feel like my babies..... I love each one of them very personally. I both love the fact that she's made a comeback if for no other reason then to make a statement that you are strong and won't be held down. But I also weep inside when I see her. There's a very lonely look in her eyes that shows me she misses her sisters and I hurt for the pain of her separation...... I'm so very proud of my baby. The cactus is Jessica's hurt ego / soul that is sharp and hostile to anyone who tried to approach. It was because she was hurt by leaving SM and group. Nevertheless, her soul was needed to be embraced and loved so Jessica took care of it with her heart. At the end of the MV, it grew out and transformed to flowers and soft leaves that filled the entire house, which represents Jessica's current rich soul and her spiritual growth.
