You can notice that the whole time they were asking her about her past idol life from SNSD, she was always looking down. But when they started talking about B&E, she lightens up and would look them in the eye. So proud of what you have been and where you're going, Jessica. Keep on! 🎉👏

You can tell that she was very careful with her choice of words and the amount of info she told. I wish her nothing but everlasting success. What she went (or is going) through has not been easy, but it's actually really good seeing her flourish in China and other countries, whether is it related to her art or her business. I have been a huge fan of ever ever since 2011 and I have been looking up to her ever since I first saw how determined and resilient she is. A very good role model. Hopefully one day I make it big enough to actually be able to meet her.

23:59 fr its insane how Jessica balanced all her schedules. In her book as well, she details how hectic it was juggling her brand with her group activities and filming with Krystal for their reality show. So much respect to Jessica for never missing a schedule despite having so much on her plate. At the same time I hope she can take more breaks now because being THAT busy can not be good for anyone 😭 most idols take breaks and understandably skip schedules when they're acting but Jessica never did it even though her brand took up no less time
@ywc9644
@ywc9644 7 ай бұрын
but s8ne still spreading fake info of Jessica missing a lot of schedules without any evidence, I mean their schedules were all there to check...but they still dare to lie again and again in order to normalize the incident of her being kicked out from snsd with many unfair accusations and excuses other 8 and their fans have made up for almost 10 years, while other 8 actually more fit in to their own accusations towards Jessica...double standard.

For people who accused Jessica of throwing her past, forgotten where she belongs, saying that she's nobody without her past as if Jessica never acknowledged her past with SNSD should really watched this video. Just because on certain show she said that she doesn't want/like to go back at times or she always says past is past doesn't mean she didn't acknowledged her past or like you guys said she forget where and why she's very known. Logically speaking, it's true though why would you go back to the past no matter if it's good or bad because there's no use of regret actually as things already happened for a reason and yes, past is past guys if you keep dwelling on it how can you survived, how can you move forward... That's it from me, sorry if my comment is offensive to anyone

@@animecookies8784Not true, she was the backbone of their sound because she was their main vocalist along with Taeyeon, she was not any other member. Of course every member was precious and valuable to the team, but the main vocals are the backbone of their sound, Jessica happened to be in more choruses and backing vocals than even Taeyeon herself, check out the vocal analysis if you don't believe me, and that's because her voice is really recognizable and on brand with SNSD girly/pinkish/Barbie music and image. This is not coming from bias, I'm not the only one who notice the importance of Jessica when she was in the group, she's not the only important member, but she indeed was one of the most important ones.
@nashi._.7563
@nashi._.7563 11 ай бұрын
Jessica was in fact a huge part of SNSD tho. She sings a lot of the choruses & her distinctive voice helped brand the groups records. It’s one of the main reasons why you can differentiate SNSD songs from other groups. She was also consistently ranked one of the more popular members alongside Taeyeon & Yoona. When Jessica left, the group took a hit vocally. This is not to say other members can’t sing. But more so the group lost a lot of flavor in their music. If you listen to some of the compilations of various members covering her parts you can hear it sounds bland

I've been a fan of Jessica through SNSD. I haven't been updated with her activities as much as before because I was also hurt when the news broke about her departure from the group. Seeing how she carefully thought of what to say here, I saw how much more she was hurt than I was because I let my emotions get ahead of me when she left. I didn't understand (or probably chose not to understand) because I was young and immature. Watching this now as a full grown adult, I think I've heard enough and have come to terms in accepting this as the closure we've all been waiting for years. Hopefully, she is now in good terms or had a proper closure with the involved parties. Thanks The Daily Ketchup for this wonderful podcast!

Now we know why SM was afraid of her showing herself in Korea when she left and got banished from snsd. She is really sm's "baby". Her power by just herself is like whole. She could do far and greater even by herself. And even now she's already doing many things. Must be one of the great lost for the company. I think she was and still is well respected by the company and by the ceo himself

I love this chill and genuine interview with Jessica. So happy that finally she starting to open up herself more. She grew up amazingly with the guidance of her parents. Thank you for guesting her, TDC.

ive looked up to her since idk i was 7-8 maybe and I'm 20 now 😭😭😭😭 her leaving hurt me SO BAD i was legit crying and denying things so bad.. i was left wondering "why" for so many years because she was sort of like the older sister figure i never had but needed (as well as tiffany and taeyeon) im so glad you managed to invite her.. so my child self can finally understand why it happened

I'm so grateful for this interview, I literally got to know kpop thanks to GG back in 2010, Jessica's departure was heartbreaking (my 2nd bias) but I'm happy to see her grow and be her most authentic self
