This is the best version of this song. Breaks my heart every time.

someone says she has no emotion? that's how she sings. The emotion is there. Its in the writing. That's how she sings. the melancholy speaks strength, too. I see the emotion in her eyes. You don't write this kind of stuff if you are void of emotion. insanity. I love this lady! ;^)

AbsintheColour good comment! I guess people get it or they don't, I love everything this lady does!

Right!? For sure! Don't think ive liked a musician as much since Cobain. shes different but just as raw and truthful, I feel.

AbsintheColour Her and Jason Isbell, are the only two people I can listen to on constant repeat all day every day and not get fed up of the same CD!

the melancholy IS the fucking emotion, i can't believe anyone doesn't get that. maybe you have to have experienced this feeling for a long time to get it?

@Tube4ward As we all know, much like food, some music isn't for everyone. Jessica's music doesn't really drive me into any kind of darkness. I just find it relaxing, simple, and beautiful. And up-tempo music doesn't really do it for me. But hey, no hard feelings.

As a whole I think it effectively expresses whatever the listener may be open to recieve. But I can also see slightly what youre sayin. Maybe its the fact that she indulges a bit in the song by making it a minute in a half longer than it needs to be. Anyhoo, I like it. I give it a 3.25 out of 5 stars. ahaha. And thats good compared to most the stuff that actually makes the scene exposure wise nowadays. I wouldnt say its a favourite of hers for me but I like it. Hey, opinions..right? lol Peace

Great vid, she's lovely here, cute with her little gap(so hot). Last I saw, she had braces. Adorable and captivating either way. Awaiting future projects. I think a song with Ryan Adams would be cool but I know some ideas should never be tested. I'm afraid to be let down but it could be great. I'm rambling,... To JLM

Sounds like you're correct and 333psychonutt is the dumb one. Capo or no capo, it's a major shape. I completely understood your comment because I was thinking the same, but hopefully ppl understand that your "E major" means to use it instead of the Em listed elsewhere. Ok progression listed I guess but seems psycho missed theory 101

Why bother?Leave Tube4ward to his AAmp energy drink sampler that he picked up on an outing with the cool kids! Oh and Tube, don't you ever blaspheme and claim to listen to such great music like The Avetts , Langhorne, or Old Crow again.

Some darkness you have to walk straight through and submerge yourself in it. When you're pregnant and find out you may have cancer, you don't want to hear to Wagon Wheel for the 502nd time.
