Yes food addiction is real! I was 75-80 pounds overweight for a long time and I dropped the weight 12 years ago and kept it off. Diets are temporary I had to learn how to eat properly and I kept the weight off

Being a guardian for my mentally ill 62 yo brother now for 40 yrs now, this is a severe mental health issue as you all see. But until she is a threat to other people, breaks laws, attempts suicide, the help is not there anymore. Believe when I say I’ve been and seen it all with my brother. Stories that “normal people” don’t want to hear or know about. I’ll leave it at that.

My heart goes out to Jess. I have severe PCOS and I know how she feels bout losing weight (eating), My face will look exactly like Jess’s if I dont shave one 24 hours. I am kind of confused as to why he asked her about what ppl thing about when she says her name is Jessica. PCOS is not just messing with WOMANS hormones, Physical appearance, Insulin levels (if you dont need insulin injections), but the one that people who dont understand it dont seams to realise it also messes with your mental health in MANY ways…. I hope that best for Jess. SHE is a lovely woman she just needs a helping hand. I do get what she means about drugs and eating. I have been there and tried it, I dont eat because it messes my insulin up big time. Instead of eating I will have a cigarette.

Another channel interviewed her 8 months ago & there you can see she’s a girl. Her mother commented that she has PCOC which causes the beard, the weight & severe emotional distress as a result of being bullied mercilessly. Whiles she’s been homeless before, she had a “no good” boyfriend who died which devastated her so she was living back with her mother at that time. Apparently she does have a drinking problem and takes the bus every morning and every night to get to and from wherever she hangs out all day…..she has mental and emotional problems as a result of feeling outcast. And that’s all I know

Makes sense. I am a woman with pcos as well and knew she suffered from the same illness as soon as I saw her thin hair and beard. I am also someone who suffers from addiction and was relentlessly bullied and abused growing up. She needs some real support, relaxation and to live life more slow. She deserves better. 😢 She has the option to get medications, therapy and procedures that can help with the symptoms of PCOS and PTSD/depression/addiction. I wish I could help her, I know the feeling of being self conscious, burdened with grief, ptsd, depression anxiety and rage and having nothing to live for.
