I don’t feel he’s treating her like a human being, otherwise she wouldn’t mention twice that he’s complaining about her? He’s steering the conversation to how she needs to change, which she finds frustrating - is that how we should treat each other? He’s not respecting her right to live however she wants and is trying to manipulate her to live the “normal” way. Just because she has mental health issues doesn’t mean she can be told what is right for her.

Hi Mark. I have been an opiate addict for 15 years. The last 4 years of my using I was heavily addicted to crack and fentanyl. I have been in the same mind set as Rebecca. The thought of never being able to do drugs again completely turned me off from rehab. It wasn’t until my parents told me to just give it a shot for a few months. What’s a few months out of your whole life. Maybe it would help when proposing rehab to her by saying she doesn’t need to commit to anything forever. Tell her she can try this program and if it ends up not being for her she can go back to her life on the the streets. Nothing to lose, but hopefully something if to gain. Luckily I ended up staying sober after the program and I have almost 2 years sober now. It’s scary to think so far into the future and not wanting to commit and disappoint anyone. That’s why they say to focus one day at a time. One step at a time. Ask her to just give it a try. Rebecca we are all rooting for you and know there is a better life out there for you. ❤

It sounds like the trauma she experienced, from father maybe, was stopped when saying this. When fighting gives you nothing but more punches, you become small, and say small things. To stop the pain, to be forgiven. To not be looked at with such hatred. It breaks my heart to see what I could a been if I had stayed addicted and broken on the streets. Because I am bipolar and ADHD and not on meds because therapy got my broken ass to semi function. Still live in constant panic mode but it is a mild panic. Instead of high anxiety constant, I hurt for Rebecca.

Only when I reached my lowest did I want to help and now 10 years clean and a beautiful life I’m so happy and I actually love myself now and that took me a long time. Possession is hardest to watch whenever victim is totally unaware! Which is , more often than not, the case. Addiction is just like a demon! U play with it at first, u “ entertain” it. U damn well KNOW it’s dangerous. U tell urself that u can handle it. Yeah, like somehow YOU will b the exception to the RULE!!??? U even feel urself slipping away and the demon taking over control, right at that exact moment is ur most vulnerable….. if we could just get a hold of/help people either b4 or right then…. Once that point, the point of no return, ur a slave to the demon! U follow blindly into the abyss! T. H. I. S. S. Is When Possession Addiction Is Not A Choice!!! Can one recover? It’s uncommon, Absolutely POSSIBLE! The point of no. RETURN I Speak Of…. There is no “ returning” NO Turning Back to ur old self!! To become free from this demon, this possession of ur full mind & body, even ur spirit is effected .. U have to become a totally different and brand new Y O U Very very very VERY Few can do it without an actual SYSTEM OF SUPPORT no one, not one… Can do it alone! It’s a thing of pure evil Therefore It takes thing(s) Of Pure Love & source of eternal light To Reveal The abyss, much less dig u out with ur own willingness and desire to b FREE. Then same source becomes Ur strength….. aiding & guiding u to strengthen and believe ur loved, forgiven 2…. To all u idiots saying Mark is enabling…. There is also keepin a human ALIVE just ONE MORE DAY…. Believing & Hoping. That Day is THE day!! It’s nearly impossible to actually ENABLE a homeless person, skid row is the last stop b4 death! Showing them some unconditional love, ( like Mark does) might b first they have received and last thing they will feel b4 actual death!!! Y’all just stay sitting on ur phones judging while doing absolutely NOTHING! Video after video displaying Rebecca's anxt and addiction to the world is nothing more than a money pot for several, the show is entertainment for many the end result is the same old results nothing. Professional help as intervention may help but as of now you are providing a soap opera performance for rebecca. Look at the end result, is it working? Video after video of Rebecca's insanity of various degrees. It's not working, change the platform to intervention please it's worth a try. In one of the older videos, Rebecca had recently been released from rehab, if I remember correctly. Maybe the hospital. I believe on that video she said she's bipolar. My x is bipolar 1 and I see so much of his mania and psychosis here. In that video you could tell Rebecca had been given anti-psychotics.. she was very soft spoken and appeared to be grounded and clear. Her intelligence came through so clear and held an actual conversation for the entire video. I hoped that it was the beginning of a new chapter but bipolar disorder never ends unfortunately. I agree with Mark that she was hurt very badly when she was a child. And I hate that so much!! Rebecca is intelligent, you can tell. And she seems to have a very caring heart. It makes my heart break knowing she has to be high on something to block out whatever pain she is experiencing. Rebecca, I pray for you to find the strength to get clean and stay clean 🙏 I know it's not easy. I'm a recovering addict myself, 5 years clean this past April. PLEASE let Mark help you!! 🙏🙏🙏

I know this is an older video but its the 2nd or 3 one where I see sober Rebecca. I think the drugs allows her to not give a crap about what people think so she can speak but sober Rebecca (likely due to childhood trauma) is not only soft spoken but seems soooo scared to say a word. I lost my son and baby grandson few years back so I've turned to praying every night since and Rebecca is in every prayer I say. She HAS to get better, the world needs her here, so many people would be devastated to hear she's passed. I sure hope today she is better or working on getting better (sorry if there is a recent video with her, just going thru all your older videos first as I am new to the channel). I saw an interview with Mark and Joe Rogan. Mark spoke about the incredible, unwavering, and unconditional love that his Mother had for him. He said (para-phrasing) he could have been gay, a drug addict, a criminal, and his Mom wouldnt have ever loved him differently. It felt like a softer, more private side of Mark, and he shed tears over this. He is walking in his Mom's footsteps, trying to give another human being the same love that he received. It said this is like a homage to his Mother. It was refreshing to see Mark behind the camera lens. I hope you get to a place where you tell Rebecca that you will not love her to death. Pure, unwavering, unconditional love is doing whats best for other people, even if it feels "wrong" or "bad". Mark, it sounds like your mother would have moved Heaven and Earth to make sure her son was healthy and happy. What do you think she would have done for Rebecca. If Rebecca was her son? Each video i watch brings me closer and closer to the decision that i would commit someone i loved, if it meant saving their life. Even if it meant they hated me for the rest of their life. I am in recovery, and my sister called me one time and asked me who i wanted in my family to make decisions for me if something happened. I dont know if they were close to commiting me, resigning themselves to my death, or if they meant in medical matters. I dont want to see Rebecca die. Shes clearly in a place where she cant make responsible and informed decisions for herself anymore. She would stay in the streets forever if she could. Beautiful wigs, dresses, cigs, and crystal meth would be all that she needs.

Self-worth needs to be taught and supported in children. It takes a lifetimes worth of fighting to learn it as an adult. Sadly, due to the pain, people often get caught in rough lifestyles like this before they have a chance to figure it out. I think that's a cruel reality. The cliche has merit though, Rebecca can't get better until she wants it and feels she is worth it. Always be supportive of children. They are people.

Self-love is something that is taught by others, that's why some don't feel it, because they don't have had experiences that made them feel loved. I always have a hard time with this self-love talk, because it seems rather unfair to say to people, i find. To add, i am a bit surprised that people don't understand that self-love is given by others, i mean, look at Mark's channel, a whole lot of people who were not loved as children. So, give people good experiences and the love will come, that's why it is so important to love each other. Mark has said something about the name of his project and how he would have named it something with Love in it, because the answer is obviously Love. ❤️ And i'm happy you edited the part about "taught" into your comment 😉😄

Or maybe its the part where he threw a whole box of clean, normal clothes away in disgust while demanding Mark take him shopping and buy him a house? Becca loves this life style and unfortunately a fix is the only love and the only future he looks forward to...hes entwined his life so deeply with doing wrong that it flows freely from him. His chaotic energy can be felt through a screen...that speaks volumes.

Not saying she wasn't acting rude or lacked manners but she is on drugs bro you aren't in the right state of mind to be thinking clearly at all. She is an addict gone untreated so it's expected someone will act chaotic. Rebecca sober, or at least not this out of it, is what people really see if not she wouldn't have so many people wishing for her to get better or they wouldn't love/care for her this much. I stick by Rebeccas story closely as I feel her and Mark actually have a relationship it isn't only an interview but also a conversation. That shows she isn't entirely this disgusting thing you describe. A persons character can be much more charming than their appearance. Im sure Rebecca realizes how generous Mark is I just hope she also realizes that she needs to do her part too and build herself back up with the help of his generosity. If you were to be thrown onto streets and become an addict wouldn't you want people to consider who you are outside of that too? If not... thats speaks volumes. @@charmingheartphotography6758

I hope Mark sees this comment: *Rebecca needs more than individual therapy - she needs for starters (which you know, and offer her constantly) - a serious and lengthy medical detox; but most importantly, for people like rebecca who clearly have serious trauma and very very serious addiction problems, Group DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy) is most suited for her. It centres on treating emotion dysregulation as core to disorders like substance abuse, BPD, and those with severely suicidal intentions and behaviours. Rebecca needs this, and regular therapy won't cut it. Rebecca has very serious dissociation and impulsive behaviours, and cannot do therapy individually.* Sincerely, a psychologist who watches your content.

I disagree , though to match a therapist with which both parties could endure the long term feels very unlikely. I have been in therapy of one sort or another almost twenty times , it was only when I met the right therapist that I was met and understood and found acceptance , forgiveness , the ability to let go and reasons to actually love myself in less time than it had taken to even develop a working trust with others. There are therapists that could work with Rebecca , I agree she needs a detox and additional help but it's my belief that there is someone for everyone whether that be a romantic partner , a car mechanic or psychotherapist. I also wholeheartedly agree with a dbt, cbt based plan. Dbt was the game changer for me , having a system and a collection of exercises to help regulate my emotional reactions is what actually created the space in which I could do more work. primarily she needs to stop taking uppers , any change is unlikely until that is addressed.

Just in case anyone was thinking about trying meth, you need to know that Rebecca here may or may not have been mentally ill before she tried this drug. Meth is extremely popular in the gay club scene, which is where I'm sure she was exposed to it. It can trigger something called Meth Psychosis, which presents almost identically to schizophrenia, which might be what we are seeing here . The worst part is that psychosis doesn't go away after discontinuing use in 40% of people. Meaning, if she wasn't mentally ill before, she is now because the way methamphetamine alters the dopamine pathways and serotonin receptors in the brain. It change your brain's structure, which is why it's so dangerous. I lived in Arkansas for a couple of years and saw how it ravaged entire communities. If you're going to do drugs, don't do this one. Not because it's illegal or immoral, but because your mind is all you have.

For everyone who says she is too far gone, people said that about me too. 8 almost 9 years sober. No matter how much someone wants you to succeed and get well, YOU THE ADDICT have to want it more than anything. Your sobriety has to treated like a life and death situation. You have to change EVERYTHING.. While it seems so hard for those experiencing change, it's real simple at the same time. I hope she does get sober. I never ever say someone is too far gone for change, just like I never ever say someone has too much sobriety to relapse. I held onto hope for my father until the day he passed away from his own addiction. What are we without hope? We love you Rebecca ❤❤❤

I've been in NA in the past, consistently, for years. Depending on where you live.... all groups are different. But I believe that NA, in particular, is worth a shot and it helped me for a while as a stepping stone of sorts. What I've found is that therapists and psychiatrists have helped me in a much more useful and meaningful way, long-term. Sometimes we just need more personalized care! As a matter of fact, I feel we need more personalized care more often than not... For instance, I got knocked up with a dude I was seeing (who was also in the program) and we split cus I had an abortion - he had wanted me to keep the baby, but I knew better. Thank goodness. Unfortunately, he had been in the program longer and was more "popular" throughout the entire area...even region! On boards and all that. So everyone dropped me at the worst time possible - while I was still pregnant, and that was a lil devastating. Maybe I'm just so useless and that treatment was warranted...?? But I highly doubt it!! Lol Anyway, before he ever showed up at our meetings at all, the women in my main meeting group had established lofty plans to start a women's NA group that would follow after our general meetings. But as soon as I started going to meetings with the dude -- it was apparent that his reputation preceded him and it all went to shit. So NA is not a cure all! It's an Instrumental tool, though... ❤What I'm saying is, never put all your eggs in one basket! A multi-modal approach to recovery is truly essential!! (This all happened November 2012 through Sept 2013. So that ship has sailed. He is still a cheater, hitting me up 10 years later, while married & with a daughter now. But I don't have to deal with that, and neither does his wife have to deal with me, cus .... never again!! So ultimately, it's a win-win. 🥳 LOL)

Some time in a hospital bed, sedated enough to get rest and begin recovery would give this person a fighting chance. There’s a point you can’t come back from on your own without medical intervention. I think the only true demonstration of unconditional love at this point is a straight jacket and medical supervision. After a period of time, enough clarity emerges that you have the ability to make good decisions again, and you have half a chance of being able to make them. Anyone who thinks Rebecca can recover any other way at this point will be disappointed.

Thats how I got sober. I went to the hospital in Toronto and stayed 12 days. Security didnt let me leave for the first day and then i stuck it out. I wasnt out cold but heavily medicated. Even with the meds it was the worst teo weeks off my life. Luckily we have free medical detox center where they give you meds and help you wean off your drug(s) of choice. And then you go to a clean living facity for a few mnths and then you can do outpatient. I know not everyone has access to these types of centers. I actaully went twice to get off of opiates 15 years ago. And then 6 years ago to get off of alcohol. So im now 6 years sober from all substances and life is great!! I wouldn't have been able to get clean without the medical intervention.

A year of difficult therapy to have a lifetime of love, OR, avoid the difficult conversations but spend a lifetime on the streets with just a blanket? Rebecca breaks my heart. She is stuck in a loop that I don't think can be broken. I feel like she probably always had a mental illness of some sort and experienced many traumatic events growing up, which amplified the mental illness. Then when she added drugs to the mix, it became something that can't ever be fully healed, and most likely sealed her fate. What makes her situation even more sad is that she is just one of millions that are in her same situation. Nobody has the answer as to how to truly help people like Rebecca. Most end up dead, forgotten, or both. That's truly tragic because they are human beings and many of them never had a chance for a different life. It's so sad...

It’s just that tik tok/ Instagram is where there best fitting would be. Make up videos etc. especially starting off. I’m not sure if Rebecca understands that though…

All I want is to see Rebecca finally go to a rehab. I want to see that potential finally manifest. Sending love and healing. ❤️🙏🏼

Mark you are truly one of the best people in the world. These people may not show the appreciation and as thankful as you deserve but we (your viewers) realize how much you do. Love you man!

The ending made me cry…. a little boy trapped from childhood trauma… someone shamed him… you can see it… how sad and tragic. I Pray something happens and he gets the therapy and medications to stabilize. Love the Humanity & Art. Thank You Mark👁️🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️🕉️🪬
