With Holliday at your side, your adrenaline is off the charts. This is also in a much smaller venue and with no audience to interact. She did well considering the surroundings. Also, if you noticed the song is played at much faster pace. It was compressed so they can sell more commercials.

Michael Orland kinda whacked the tempo around on the piano on her - speeding up and slowing down all the time. You could tell she was trying hard to follow it.

I agree with you. She should have won. She was by far the better singer. She may just be being a good sport. I don't know but I'll take her at her word that she meant it when she said he deserved to win. My point is the competition is over. She's over it. Why aren't you? If it's any consolation, she has been on every TV network show in the last week alone while PP, although he is not well, is no where to be found. She will have a long & lasting career but I can't say the same for PP. Peace...

I prefer to hear her sing in a slower pace cause to me it helps bring out the best from her voice, but don't get me wrong cause this performance is already excellent. It's only my taste on how the song should be interpreted and I respect on what you have to say about it too :)

Musical director: stop messing up the song, and rushing a perfectly good singer. Im tried of people having more than enough time on the spotlight when it is clear that they don't do anything artistic. Meanwhile you have this girl with a perfectly good voice and pitch and the song is just rushed through, one word, unacceptable.
