It's hard to explain, but there is something imperfect about Lee's voice that adds character, meaning, interest, and heart to his songs. Crystal's singing is soulful, pitch perfect, beautiful and predictable. Lee's awkwardness and imperfection have me rooting for him.

Not only do they stay true their own style, but they both demonstrate their ability to "interpret" a song with their own vision and artistry. To me, singing is about communicating a point of view. Both Lee and Crystal are both capable for doing just this!!

He left his job briefly being a paint salesman, then worked at walgreens store in arlington heights, IL, looking for a better job out there, but he's always being turned down. I remember, he knew then he's gonna be a star, he said that when he left his old high school. Ugh, this guy is awesome, he's becoming an inspiration to me...
