Nick went on record saying that she threw away their marriage very early on and never gave themselves a chance to actually try to be “together” instead she allowed the influence by her greedy father who felt Nick was beneath his family to get in the way of her marriage to Nick and control her life.... Nick suffered a lot after Jessica left him and ended up even writing a song to Jessica about the heartache she put him through... But Jessica refused to deal with Nick at all and he had NO choice to move forward with his life and that’s when he met Vanessa..... Nick even admitted it was hard simply dating Vanessa because he was still so heartbroken over Jessica that Nick ended up dumping Vanessa to take more time to heal his pain of loosing Jessica.... It wasn’t till sometime had passed of healing that Nick decided to try again with Vanessa but this time he did tried with a clear head and a healthier heart... I’ve always felt so bad for Nick all these years the way Jessica Simpson treated him and I think it’s absurd that NOW after all these years she wants to make some “false” excuse about Nick moving on so “quickly” and Actually believe it’s to further her book sales and nothing more!!

Nick never talks about Jessica, he tryed to avoid questions. Jessica left filed for divorce said there was nothing there so why be concerned if he started dating the next week. And to bring this up years after while both have family's and clearly moved on. I think she wanted to bring little things up to see what Nick might say or his reaction. And to say her husband Eric read the book what man would want to read about your feelings about another man! That's the past you should be over a long time ago. That's just creepy and weird. I guess when your not the bread winner you don't rock the boat to much.
