I think LGBTQ+ awareness should be taught in schools. My Son was bullied relentlessly for being Gay (even though he wasn't 'out') I believe alot of it is ignorance and what they are taught by their parents. Alot of the time if the parents are openly homophobic then the kids pick up on this and think its acceptable behaviour. Edited to add. My Son is now out and proud and has found college to be a totally different experience to school.

Off camera they probably have way more tentative love for each other. But the burns and the puns and so forth get to a point where it is their modus operandi, and not as amusing.
