I've never done any drugs in my life and I can't relate to your stories but I find your stories so fascinating. The things you've been through and survived are just insane. Even though we've never met I feel so proud of you. You've come such a long way and changed your life. Your whole journey is remarkable and it speaks volumes as to who you are as a person and the amount of strength you have.

Renee Turner At least now it’s a stronger push that this life is horrible and actually has been a deterrent to many people! For my friends who watch who can’t relate, they also tell me they are intrigued and empowered of how strong the human psyche can be!

I'm so glad that I'm out of that situation and I'm sober haven't touched heroin in over 3 years and now tapering off methadone I'm so proud of myself and hearing your stories oddly enough helps keep me on my toes and keeps me on the right path so I thank you very much for shearing your journey

I hate that there's a debate regarding EMS carrying Narcan for this reason. People say things like, "Junkies shouldn't be able to OD and be revived by EMS over and over. It's a waste of time, money and services when they could be saving other people". It's such an ignorant point of view... No matter HOW many times an addict relapses and has to receive Narcan, there is always that chance, as long as they wake up, that they can turn their life around. They have the potential to not only become a functional, contributing member of society, but also HELP OTHERS who have been in a similar situation. This is why you're so appreciated, Jessica. You are changing people's ideas of "what a recovering addict looks like", I'm sure. And you are a great reminder that our experiences, no matter how dark or embarrassing, CAN be used to bring light and awareness. Thanks for sharing, as always 👏🏼🥰

Out of all your videos I think this one hit me the hardest. I’ve been 5 1/2 years clean from H and have so many of my own stories very similar to this one. I was also a dealer. I was also in a very toxic relationship. “Everything’s good now because we have drugs” I remember constantly saying that, feeling that, thinking that. So constant that it became a “joke” between me and my boyfriend back then. So sick. So devastatingly heartbreaking. This whole story is. God bless you for all the changes you have made to get where you are now, Jessica. Much love, xoxo.

You are such a beacon of light for recovering addicts. It's hard to watch the people you love deteriorate from addiction and it's hard to be the person people love and have to watch deteriorate, and ive been both. In some of your videos I'll hear you refer to yourself when you were in active addiction as a "evil" Or "bad" Person and I'm here to tell you your not evil or bad. You may have made decisions that were bad but you are not a bad person. I don't believe addicts are bad people, just people who are lost or struggling with their mental health and need help not judgement. I hope one day more people will feel as I do and want to help those who need it instead of ridicule them. Your channel is a great way to help people who may not understand, understand. So proud of the person u are now though. U let that life go. And moved forward. Most don't. And they struggle. Addiction is hard, and scary. And u made it out. Keep your head up, keep shinning and keep smiling 💗 positive vibes sent your way 💛

Your storytelling skills are top notch. I'm so glad I came across your channel. I was living in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, Canada which if you Google is known notoriously for free dealing and and free using, safe sites, and these days (and the 5 years I was an addict) a HUGE amount of Fentanyl. Did you know that 92% of what is sold as H is actually a Fentanyl analogue or a stronger research chemical in Canada? We don't even have real H anymore. That's a true stat. I'm surprised I made it alive. Though I was never incarcerated (they only catch the big fish due to the extremes in the neighbourhood), your stories help me stay grounded and remind me that I've got to keep up. Over 1 year sober now. Respect!

So happy that you were able to get out of that life cause you have a beautiful life now with Reese and your two girls. I have so many things things in common with you and I'm on my 5th year of sobriety . It was a hard road to here but very much worth it. Thanks for sharing your stories.
