I grew up in a mobile home (we called them trailers back then) and you ALWAYS get out of the mobile home and find a flat place to lay down and better yet a ditch. I grew up in north Louisiana and saw many tornados but one never came close enough to damage our mobile home.

We camped at Ocean Lakes for many years when our children were growing up. A horrible thunder, lightening, rain and strong wind storm came through one night and let me tell you I was terrified. It felt like the camper was taking off. I’ll never forget it. Many awnings were ripped off campers that night. We still go to Ocean Lakes but now stay in a house with our children and grandchildren. I’m glad your dream of living at the beach has come true!

I have a suggestion something that is cheaper than those moisture canisterers is take a metal pie pan put some charcoal in it put one in back and one in middle of camper works great. We've been doing it for yrs and haven't had any mold or mildew problems.your best protection is to run to a ditch or closes building

We were tent camping once and all of a sudden a storm popped up. We thought it was just gonna be a little summer shower and we would wait it out under the canopy 😳. Nope! It was hailing and everything! It happened so fast. The canopy got so heavy from the rain it collapsed on us! Some people’s tent was collapsing! I was separated from my husband and kids and I start running towards our tent looking for them and the hail was hitting us so hard! It was a very tense 15 minutes that we laugh about now! Lol

I save empty candle jars with lids that have been used to put bacon grease in. I have an abundance of candle jars with lids just to save grease under my kitchen sink. I don’t reuse my grease but if you do just clean the container well I would guess?

I don’t think your chances of surviving a tornado are high no matter where you hide in a camper. We have been in high winds while camping and hitched our camper to the truck for added stability. Love your videos!

Recipe idea for Bunkey and His leftover Bacon grease. Use it to pop old fashioned popcorn in a pan. My Dad used to make it that way and it is Yummy. It gives the popcorn that salty bacon flavor. Ya'll need to try it!

Glad you rescued your camper❤️ we are from Minnesota so our camper has been winterized and out in the elements since October! We are very aware of bad weather as our seasonal campground(Kamp Dels) had a tornado go through in 2018. We were not there then, but our site was very close to where campers were destroyed. We stay very connected to weather apps when we are there.

Omgoodness! I loved this video!! Mr B is absolutely freaking hilarious 😂 We own and live in our camper! When he started talking about he really thought about where y'all would hide if y'all was in a tornado and then mentioned the under bed storage; I about fell out! Lol I kid you not! That is EXACTLY where I told my husband we would do if ever put in that situation!! Then your laughing was cracking me up and I was trying to be quite because Big R is supposed to go to work tomorrow! Yeah, when the roads are NOTHING but pure sheets of ICE 🧊! Then you can make a tutorial for what to do so a tornado doesn't take you to an undesirable destination. ☺️ Yes, your tire pressure is going to be lower in extremely cold weather. But Mr B has you covered and made sure you were going to have a charged battery by the time you landed at the campsite. 😁 And something else you may not see is that you guys live a charmed life. Your guardian angel is always watching over you and keeping you protected. 😇 And you two balance each other! But it was almost like watching Lucy and Desi in their big long camper.
