or commercial-industrial lot. like for example, the industrial part is when you turn metal ingots into some metal tools or weapons. and then the shop is in front of that forge. the forge is in the back.

Tokyo is super clean but this reminds me more of Seoul lol used to live there and this is literally the vibes. Honestly, little streets in Seoul can be stank and full of lit signs, pipes and some rubbish and stuff! I love the build it feels very nostalgic!!

This is so awesome. I love the density of it. Despite being a single lot, it really feels like there's a lot packed into the space. It would be pretty amazing if you could have multi-use zoning, and create separate apartments and commercial properties all on a single lot. Imagine a chunk of a map filled with lots that looked like this. With real alley ways, and corner shops, and all that. That would be quite a thing.

Again, your homes and builds are terrific, but maybe start a little series/mini series and just build little cities like this one? I lived in Tokyo for two months, and now live near Osaka, and to be honest... this is bang on for some of the back streets / less touristy areas!! Yes, Japanese cities are very clean, but they're still cities. The rubbish on the roof is less likely, but the rubbish on the floors and the cobwebs? 1000%. Different types of rubbish get taken away every weekday because the crows and cockroaches love it. But the crows will also tear open the rubbish bags at every opportunity, so you definitely get rubbish on the streets at night / in the mornings before it gets cleared up, and then more rubbish gets put out, and then repeat! I don't know if that helps in terms of the accuracy concerns, but! Love it.

It would be very funny, at least to me, if one day you released a video that was just a compilation of bathroom decorations. I'd be very amused by the concept. Anyway, I absolutely love this build, and it actually inspired a living area idea for these two Sims I have sitting in my library. I just found you and I'm absolutely in love with your builds already. If you plan to do more japanese themed builds in the future can I suggest an entertainment district/city night scape build? In the same vein as you were going for here but 5x more neon signs and billboards. There's decor for a potential ramen and sushi shop too so it would be really cool to see your take on it! If you need ideas, look for pictures of Kabukicho which is also in Tokyo. Edit: I just saw the part where you use the little short curtains with japanese characters, those are used in ramen shops! Pretty cute how you used them though

This is phenomenal! The detail is outstanding and you're so, so talented As you say, Tokyo is incredibly clean and organised. It always strikes me when people build "manky, dirty cities" in a different ethnicity to their own, and what it says about our own prejudices. New York, Glasgow, Paris, etc are all European cities with reputations of being dirty, crowded, etc. Be good to see you take inspiration from those places and do a 'western version' of this build.

Fun fact, You can use the Live In Business mod to have someone that lives in an apartment run the retail business, and the bar, retail if you really want to sell food and groceries and other things at the grocery and convenience store, and I think the bar would still work as normal.

I don’t think they would rot as you can just place them in your sims gardens and they can sit on the floor until your sims are ready to plant them, but I set them all for sale so if they do go bad the time for it is extended & yes they can be replaced! 🥰
