She finally broke through that barrier that I always felt was holding her back from really being great. She used to use her runs too much and they wound up being like Christina Aguilera where they were overdone and rarely fitting. Now she's reigning them in and applying them just where they need to go. She was legit sounding like Whitney a bit in parts of this performance.

That's a full orchestra that plays on Singer. She blossomed here, the people of China love and APPRECIATE entertainment. She wasn't respected or treated well by her own country-U.K. She really openly loved the Chinese, says the experience was "life changing" Like Dimash (6'3") she is tall/long climbed (5' 9"). Took notice how she uses her arms..

I agree. Even though it wasn’t a strong song choice, I loved why she choose it. She used a lot of vocal restraint and I can respect that. Nice to hear just pure tone instead of runs all the time. So I really liked her performance. I hear she’ll be on episode 9 cuz she was in the hospital and was absent for 8. I think she’ll be singing ‘my heart will go on’ by Celine Dion. I hope she still plans on doing that one.

It’s a competition in China. The show is called “The Singer” and each year they would invite established successful singers from all over the world to compete. The audience consists of 500 (??..) people and they are the same people each time. They’re the ones who vote from the performers. Not all of them last throughout the entire competition. If they get kicked off, there will new singers coming.

If i never heard Rufus and Chaka's version it wouldn't be too bad but its a nice Karoaka version of the song. For this generaiton, she can sing ok but I was hoping for something mind blowing and don't see it. Nice but not mind blowing.
