Meh. Not one for over singers. I know it takes skill to reach all the notes and everything. I just prefer natural, unconventional soul. Another reason why I can't stand singing shows like American Idol.

I think she's an excellent singer, but this is just too over the top... It really kills the effect of the original song where the melody is supposed to be upbeat and the vocals a bit reserved and melancholic. Instead this just seems overly dramatic with far too many notes. Like I said she's a good singer, but she shouldn't cover this song.
