Big White Room was made many years ago when she was in hospital due to her heart condition. There was a little boy in her room with cancer. She saw him praying all night long asking God not to die and the day after he was not there anymore.

This woman here just saved me from depression wayback to 2014 for being an out of school. But Masterpiece, Who You Are, Nobody's Perfect, and a lot of her inspiring songs came into my life. I admire her so much. Her truthfulness, her vocal agility, her range, her emotions when she's singing and everything about her. She's indeed one of the best vocalists in this world. ❤️❤️

Jessie was in Great Ormond street hospital aged 11 and there was a young lad opposite her who I believe was suffering from a terminal illness and was having an operation the next day so he prayed.He did not survive the op. she woke up and he was gone, bed empty. . She said to her mum, but he prayed to live. I am sure you can read about it somewhere. She wrote the song 7 years later based on this experience.

I just saw your reaction. Big White Room was written by her when she was young. I think her first song. She has a heart condition (Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome) and she also had a stroke when she was 18. She spent time in the hospital and in her bedroom during recovery. She has gone through a lot. She is definitely one of the greatest vocalist of our life time.

Such an incredible set of performances, truly exceptional! Definitely one of the best vocalists we have today! Do wish we could have seen your reaction to Do It Like A Dude, as you seem to have edited it out, it's one of my favourites 😩. I definitely agree that she's grown into her voice, she's properly gained control of her voice, and refined it to the excellent standard it is now, and I feel she's going to keep improving!

For whatever reason I didn’t watch her OG video when it came out. Those runs at the end of Nobody’s Perfect had me like 😤😤😤 (stank face) lol. She’s mentioned that she loves Dorinda Clark-Cole as well as Kim Burrell. I can tell that some of the things she does vocally comes from them. Glad to see you reacting to Jessie again. :) Also, in regards to Big White Room, when she was about 11 or so, she was in a hospital bed. Next to her was a young boy whom she heard praying to God not to let him die. The boy passed away the following morning. BWR is a song written from that experience, and she was 17 when she wrote it. Heavy stuff.
