I'm going to make this today! Thanks for the tutorial! I've been thinking about how to add an inner pocket (between the 2 panels) to hold coffee cash.
@jenhutson99082 ай бұрын
If you do not have fusible fleece/batting then you can sew quilting lines to hold it in place. It’s free and it will not wear out from washing like adhesives can over time. Happy sewing. Thanks so much for having both PDF and SVG. You are amazing and generous!

I stumbled onto your video about Itty Bitty Box Bags, wonderful tutorial btw! But I'm leaving this comment, not for that, but for you, as an individual. You make such informative, easy to follow, RELATABLE, warm-hearted videos. The way you present even the more advanced tutorials, leaves me feeling like I can accomplish it! Thank you so much!!

I love this. I just finished making my first one but it's too small to fit my medium Dunkin cold coffee cup. I double checked that I printed at 100% and I did. I know this video is 4 years old. Thank you for including that failure is part of the process. I quite sewing a few years ago because I felt that because it didn't come easily, I didn't have talent. Also, how did you convert the pattern to a SVG file? I have a Cricut maker, which drives me nuts, and I want to know how to convert a paper pattern to something the Cricut can use. A tutorial on how you use your Cricut to cut fabric would be great. I don't trust many of the video tutorials anymore, because I think they're sponsored by Cricut. Yours would be trustworthy.
@OklaRoots4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Yes, I think it's very important to show my mistakes. I actually make a ton of them in every project. That's just how I create. The process I use to create a SVG file uses quite a bit of software, but I think that would be a great tutorial!

Hello! I know this is an older video -- but the template says "Fold" on one side so I assumed it was supposed to be cut on the fold. Unfortunately (and I should've seen this coming), it's way too big for any cup I own. What does "Fold" on the pattern mean?

Hi Jess! Question, I overthink things and was wondering how the sleeve fits once washed? I know these things will get dirty and need to be washed and was wondering if you had washed any and how it fit afterward. I'm going to make my family a bunch and if I need to prewash fabric or make it just a 1/4" bigger for shrinkage? Thanks!

I just used this pattern to make the cutest sleeve to put around an ugly plant pot (ok, so I recycled a small plastic ice cream container, but it was the perfect size for the cutting I was planting). I used the pattern for the 3 1/2 inch sleeve and had to modify to make it fit all the way around but it came out so cute. Now I'm looking around my house to see if any of my other pots need a sleeve lol.

Are you using the paper cups from Starbucks? They are slightly wider, but it should still fit. Try adding 1/2" to either of the ends of both the fusible fleece and the outer panel, if the sleeve is too snug.
