Jess, your tree just isn't matured yet. But it won't produce if it's not being pollinated, so just keep an eye out for bees to make sure it's being pollinated. If not, a quick fix can be planter pots of marigolds, sunflowers, nasturtium etc nearby. 😉👍

Some reasons for this would be incorrect cultivation, lack of nutrients, insufficient water and bad rootstock. If the plant does bloom but still fails to fruit, this might be because the tree is not old enough. Lemon tree fruiting occurs at three to five years old, depending upon the rootstock.

A life changing thing I learnt one day was to change “I HAVE to put away my groceries” to “ I GET to put away my groceries”. This applies to anything that you dread doing. It really helps to put things into perspective. Not everyone has the luxury to do the things you look at as a chore/work and if the tables turned you would likely miss it.

It doesn't necessarily have to be another lemon tree, that's the whole job of a bee. It lands on the flower, picks up pollen while also pollinating that flower with the pollen from the flowers it previously landed on. Also as mentioned above, some trees are "self pollinating " I'm not exactly sure what that means but you definitely don't need more than one of any tree for it to fruit.
