My aunt had a Fairlane 500 in 1967. She left it to me just before I went to SE Asia in '68 when she died. Had a Ford police interceptor motor in it. Went over 160mph. Loved that car. My estranged father sold it while I was in SE Asia in '69. Never forgave him for that. And still don't to this day.

You should have gotten it back, and made him pay back the people who bought it. You could have even filed a police report because he essentially stole and sold your car.

@@joshuaingram571 didn't know he had done it till I got back. I was in Nam from late '68 till mid '71. And yes, I could have still gone to the police, but by that time who knows what might have happened to the car. And wasn't worth the fight with the rest of the family.

I love this tune man. With the video I like that it shows a horse an rider as well as a driver with a classic car kinda tells how many generations the proverbial highway has been haunted perhaps how many souls it claimed in it's time. Then sort of portraying the rider an driver as ghosts the story art was well put together I'm trying to say. As a trucker I feel I can relate to this song in a sense.
