The Pochette Métis is one of my favorite bags. I have no issues with the glazing or closing it. The S-Lock just finds itself. It’s probably my best every day bag and one I will never part with.

I love hearing you talk! Thanks for sharing. I was so happy to see you show off the *regbags* bags. I am trying to decide which one I want the most. I am usually not too happy with Bulgari bags because the prices go up and the quality goes down. While Chanel has always been my favorite, their quality is going down while the prices are skyrocketing. I don't think that can be called luxury anymore. I call it greed and disrespect for the customer. So I am looking elsewhere.

Never understand why so many YT influencers constantly put down the LV Pochette Metis, except for Meredith-she loves hers. I have two (one for fall/winter and one for summer) and wear them a lot way more than I wear my Birkins. The Pochette Metis is my go-to bag for every day, especially since it can handle any weather. It made the "Top 10 Best-Selling Handbags of 2024 on Fashionphile." It's still very popular and a wonderful bag. I love the organization that it offers. I will never part with mine, and if something happened to them, I'd replace them immediately.

Unpopular opinion, I lovvvve Chanel jumbo flap. The price rise is outrageous and I’m so grateful for what I have. I rotate through my 4 jumbos, and a large coco top handle- since I can wear that cross body as well. What I love about the jumbo specifically is I can wear it cross body with my big coat. It’s roomy enough for SLG’s and a snack and mini water bottle. I use the front pocket for papers and receipts. The medium is pointless lol. It’s so small. I will never buy a new one from boutique bc they are now 12k USD which is crazy. I thought I was a crazy person when I got my last one at 7.4k with tax it was just over 8k. But I feel like since I chose caviar, I will have them forever. I never had a quality issue with the chain. Admittedly it is a heavy bag but I got used to it. I love to wear it with one chain on each shoulder across in the warmer months (hard to describe) distributed the weight evenly

the soho disco in a red or the blush/tan live rent free in my mind. I've thought of adding it multiple times but never do and idk why. love both the niki and the lulu, however I have a 19 and I don't think I would wear ysl.

I’ve had the Louis Vuitton Métis bag for over 10 years and use it almost daily. The bag is not only incredibly well-thought-out and an organizational talent with its internal compartment dividers, but it’s also very spacious without looking overstuffed. Additionally, it has a zipper on the back, which is absolutely brilliant for storing things like coins or items you need to access quickly. The closure has never caused me any trouble - you just need to always place your wallet in the frontmost compartment, and the bag closes wonderfully. I also find it super practical that it has both a short handle and a shoulder strap, so you can carry the bag however you need. Overall, it’s one of my absolute favorite bags. I’d love to have it exactly as it is, just without the LV monogram - simply plain. If it’s ever available in that version, I’ll definitely buy it. Ciao.

Just a few days ago, the lining of the bag I bought two months ago was scratched by me when I put sharp objects in it. I contacted their after-sales service, and they gave me a perfect after-sales solution.

I love my Gucci Dionysus super mini in red velvet. It’s my special occasion bag and I don’t feel I need to ever replace it. I also have a Chanel shiva bag from 2012. It is great quality and works cross body for me. It’s a great alternative to the classic flap and much cheaper but it never seems to be talked about on social media.

I love my Metis! I did keep the clear stickers on my hardware though. I particularly love how it sits well against my body. I have a 2020 model and I was told the cracking and glazing issue is less prominent.

Gucci Soho Disco, and YSL Baby Niki are both loves of mine! Also, still love my Chanel Reissue 226! The Balenciaga Rodeo could make the comfort level, but I haven’t used it enough to decide yet. :) Great video, Jess!

You are talking about the old YSL Niki. The newer version does not sag in the middle. I have the Niki and it’s the best purchase I’ve ever made. I love the Loulou but the Niki is more easy going.

I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I don’t know what happened but I paid over $3,000 for it a few years ago and I am upset that it already has scratches. No one notices now but I notice the price I paid for it. I’m saving up to buy another *amzrepe* bag now that I won’t be paying full price anymore.

Your take on the hype bags are interesting 🤔 although I still love my Métis and never had any issue with it. I also still want the Gucci Dionysius and it still looks great in my opinion. I am in agreement with you on the Chanel hype bags. Thanks for showing the Hermes alternative to the Constance, I really like the look and size of yours.

I get the most compliments on my Dionysus Bag. I also like that it’s no logo. Not sure how long I’ll keep it but I got it in a solid red and it goes with everything. I do agree it’s not a roomy bag but I actually like the chain as it looks more elevated. The metal horseshoe is also classic Gucci.

Hi there I had an Hermes Birkin a good 7-8 years ago. Unfortunately it just wasn’t for me and the hype with Hermes is overrated in my opinion!I have a couple of LV bags, their Oxford bag and the Pochette Metis East West in leather and bags are awesome. I agree with the what you said about Chanel although I have the 19 and love it still. Great Vlog and you are entitled to your own opinion of bags that’s what makes us all different👍🏻😬

In my opinion Hermes is sooooo overrated. Yes it is nice leather, great craftmanship but it is so plain... I am lucky enough to own both Hermes and Chanel bags and I enjoy Chanel more. The quilting, the strap, iridiscent leathers... Love, love, love Chanel. ❤
