Why do i feel like both a sage and jester?

I feel that the jester is the higher form and a sage is something individual that is part of what a jester is, depends on the energy the jester gives

You might’ve been the sage in a past life so you’re used to the feeling. Your purpose in this life is probably to be the jester. Or at least embrace that side as to not be serious all the time.

They’re the same… the Sage begins as The Fool, and continues on the life path to ascend INTO the Sage or The Magician

I am totally the sage....in becoming a Christian minister, philosopher, and teacher I can be extremely serious most of the time, but I've been blessed to have a job for many years as a welder and machinist in a shop full of jesters and well if you don't learn to roll with the jesters punches you'll constantly have a bad day so I've learned to take a joke and even become somewhat of a jester myself.

I think my primary is sage, but I think my shadow is a jester. They both resonate. One overtly the other more covert, maybe an alter-ego perhaps?

Talking about a spiritual master teaching…if he is not a jester as well, I‘d never trust him. True spiritual masters are very funny at times, happy to laugh about themselves and life. For me, it is only the shadow aspects of both types that don’t get along.
