I'm with you, Jes...what a waste of toilet paper! Kids in my town perform a tping ritual every year during Homecoming up and down the streets leading to the high school. I don't think they miss one tree. It's a mess. I feel so sorry for the residents who have to clean all this up. I'm happy for you that they didn't damage your beautiful gardens.

I’m very familiar with rolling TP!!! At Auburn University in Auburn,Al, each time the football players win a game, the students and fans roll Toomer’s Corner and surrounding trees. The city uses fire trucks with water to gently wash the paper off. It’s been a tradition for years! 3:13

I enjoy the blooms. They're faery-garden-like. So funny -- needing "Captions," I see hilarious things: It captured your word "floody" as "flutty" lol. And, ever time you said "hosta", the computer-gen caption printed "pasta"...😊

I don't care for the Hosta blooms, but i leave them be. My daughters, three of my friends kids, and me all dressed up in black and snuck over to my friends house and soaped and tp'd her car in the middle of the night. She did not know who did it until we confessed in about 3-days. We had so much fun and laughed so hard. Her payback to me was an awesome story. To long to tell. Thanks for bringing back that memory you tp hoodlums! I love your "I'm Frustrated" song-mind your own business. 💖💖🎶🎶

Nobody messes with Jes's gully garden 😒 i only have one Hosta. It is 2 yrs old. Has not bloomed. In a pot. I did not even really know they bloomed or that they may re seed themselves - who would not want free Hosta plants ? I would not cut any flower that the bees loved. We have loads slugs and snails here and Hosta's are their main dish 🐌Stunning Hibiscus 🏵🏵 U so sweet helping Natey clean up

Neighbor was the HS softball coach and every spring the girls would TP his house. If Nate was a UM fan, I'd probably tell him to hit the high streamers with the hose and they will easily fall out of the tree. As for the hosta blooms, I leave them because I'm heavy into supporting the pollinators and the hummingbirds love them. NW Ohio ZONE 6b GO BLUE!! 💛🏈💙

I didn't love the hosta blooms at first, but I seen so many pollinators on them the first year I had them so couldn't bring my self to chop them off and as time as has gone by I've grown to really like them and I now leave all of them to bloom. . And I'd also be making nate or he's mates clean it all up too and I definitely don't blame you for not being too happy about it.

Nate should be supervising the kids that did that, I'm with you, that is not funny. Not to mention it's your hard work they made a mess of, I have no patience for that type of nonsense. I like the hosta blooms. Maybe a month ago while mowing, I spotted beautiful deep purple blooms above my vinca vines, it was a hosta. I don't know how it got there, it's a loner, It was totally covered by the vinca. Sorry you have to wait about the leak.

I like the look of the flower bloom itself, but I don't lie how tall they are. I'd be happier with them of the stems were only about 10-12" tall. The High Sc kids do TPing in my area at Home Coming time. It's messy and a pain in the "neck" to clean up...but harmless fun. Think of those bees as your friends. I just move around out their way and don't swat at them. They won't attack you unless you sway at them and scare them. Love that red hibiscus.

I am not a huge fan of the blooms on my hostas but my husband adores them so I keep them for him and the pollinators. Your gully is my favorite shade garden on you tube!! It appears, Nate needs to hang around some grown-up friends. You'd be surprised how much nutrients trees can take out of the soil, perhaps there is something happening with the roots, some kind of root rot, nematodes or even some animal snacking on the roots, but overall everything looks very healthy! Lovely Garden! Looking forward to the Hosta tour video.

The guys who tepeed Nat are very immature. Such a childish, disrespectful thing to do to YOUR lovely garden that you work so hard keeping neat and tidy. Didn’t they have anything better to do in the middle of the night? Your hosta varieties are lovely. I live in Southeastern Michigan and the heavy rains that we have had recently made the blooms look so messy. I have over two hundred hostas bordering my neighbor’s driveway. I started with six plants over forty years ago. They are shaded by my home and camouflage the brick foundation of my 1937 home. But I removed all of the spent blooms this week. They look spectacular now. Your videos are always so enjoyable to watch. Your passion for plants is so evident in your beautiful gardens. Your plants are so prolific and healthy.

Love your ‘movies’! I love the blooms on my hostas, but as soon as they look spent, I am happy to clean them up. I have to leave about 10 inches of the flower stalk, though, or I completely forget where they are, as they die down to the ground and I clean up all the leaves, too. In the spring, when I see their little spears poking up, THEN I pull out the remaining pieces of the old flower stalks. P.S., when I was in High School, getting your yard TP’d, meant you were well liked and popular!
