Hi John, thanks for your visit to my KZbin channel. For many years I have enjoyed playing your arrangement of "Jesu". Thank you for creating such a beautiful version of this timeless classic! Incidentally, we actually met and spent time together in the summer of 1974. You may remember me as the fellow who lived in the back of the Village Guitar Shop owned by John Whitted. You were my mentor for a short while and, during that time, I learned a great deal from you in regard to practicing, performing and really 'polishing' a piece to perfection.

I particularly remember a nice interlude of guitar, sunshine, and girl-watching we enjoyed on the steps of the little outdoor amphitheater behind Old Town in Los Gatos. The 50th anniversary of that fine summer's day is coming up pretty soon. Can you believe it?! Thank you for crediting the arrangement, Steven. So good to see and hear you play again!
