I think selling these bags was a wise decision, as you didn't use them anymore. However, don't feel like you HAVE to sell others, if you love all the bags in your closet (and you have some fantastic Chanel & Hermes bags). So keep what you love and don't feel guilty.

I love your approach, it’s definitely healthy to not place to much value on material things but make sure you truly enjoy the pieces you do keep. That being said, if I were lucky enough to own the Kelly to gos that would have been a very difficult decision 😂😂 but you absolutely did the right thing!

I love a good sensible purge from the closet or home; in fact, I agree with every bag you’ve sold and would have done the same. At the same time, in those situations where you absolutely love your bags and don’t use them, it’s a great scenario in case you have kids in the future who want to use them when they are older. I’m buying more luxury now (no vintage or preloved items, just classics in classic colors) since the kids are showing interest in using them when they are grown. ❤

Lovely video lou, totally agree with your view. The bags you sold weren’t working and it shows emotional maturity to sell them for something that works better for you. huge bag collections are so overwhelming anyway. I recently sold my herbag and B30 in exchange for a Kelly 32 and I have already used it twice as much as the others 2 put together. Feel happy I followed my instincts

Great choice. I love vintage, they are so unique. I have some older Gucci bags (2010) and a favorite Chanel Jumbo Black Caviar Silver Hardware Single Flap (17 years) that I prefer vintage. I even restored some old LVs because I loved them so much. Thank you for your video. I like them. LYXBAGS

Depends on the bag to be honest, a few of them I made money because of price increases happening over the years of owning the bags, with others I lost money as they are not bags that sell close to retail. I ended up sort of breaking even because I did not sell my bags that would give me profit like quota bags or my classic flaps 🫶🏼
