Okay Rick, I have to admit that the word for "knew" in [John 2:25] (that Jesus knew what was in man) in the original text is not the same word for know (Greek:"oida") in [Revelation 2:2], which means to know it yourself; in [John 2:25] the word is Greek:"eginōske", which means to ascertain, to come to know. But how does he come to know? Let's go to [John 7:15-16]; it says, "The Jews therefore were marveling, saying, 'how has this man become learned, having never been educated?' Jesus therefore answered them, and said, 'My teaching is NOT MINE, but HIS WHO SENT ME.' " Jesus gets it from his Father, being equal with him; as in [John 5:19], "The Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something he sees the father doing." So he doesn't just know it by himself, being in the flesh, but he gets the information from God, being one with him; & if he gets it from the Lord, he doesn't need someone else to tell him, [John 2:25] Says so that he did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man. So why would he ask the demonized "who are you" to find out why the demon was taking so long to exit?

Rick Renner, I need to ask you a question because I'm not sure if you're saying what it sounds like you're saying. You said when Jesus Christ said to the man that had a legion of demons "what is your name?", You said that he himself was AMAZED that these demons were not coming out and so said "who are you ANYWAY?" And not only that, but I think I heard you say that Jesus knew that the woman of Samaria had 5 husbands and was with a man that is not hers, but say that that doesn't mean he knew EVERYTHING about her? And that Christ got the idea of a city of a hill BECAUSE HE LIVED NEAR Sepphoris as a child, and that Jesus is able to talk about rich people and money JUST BECAUSE he lived near Sepphoris and say "where else would he have gotten those ideas, but in Sepphoris?" That doesn't make sense. I have to know what you mean by all those things. So please give a response? And I'll respond back when I get your answer.

R.Renner talks of ἔλεγεν in Mark 5: 8 at 19:20 as you point out. And that that tense means there was repetition. But R. Renner goes on to say in demonstrating the repeating that Jesus said he wouldn't leave until the daemon(s)/demon(s) come out of the man, 19:43 I'm not leaving until you come out of the man, I'm not leaving until you come out of the man. What if anything says that Jesus actually said that; The Bible in the original text language does not have that Jesus mentioned not leaving until.-Ernie Moore Jr.

Mark five what verse has Jesus repeating come out unclean spirit...I only ask because it does not say that. Does not indicate that. So, not what you say. Not what the franchise the (Holy) Roman Catholic Church says; but what the original text language has. What verse were you citing about the demon possessed man from out of the tombs and Jesus in the process of casting-out daemon(s)? Jesus cast demons out by using the instructions of Him which are written today in Red Letter and only found in Matthew Mark Luke and John in the New Testament, because the instructions of Jesus is the Holy Spirit (#John6verse63) Matthew‬ ‭12:24-32‬ “But when the #Pharisees heard this they said, “Jesus does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul (a name of Satan), the ruler of demons!” Now when Jesus realized what they were thinking, He said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is destroyed, and no town or house divided against itself will stand. 18:03 Renner cites Mark 5: 7; he says 18:31 Jesus was doing something that was tormenting the demon, but Mark 5: 2 he just got off the boat and nothing written stating that he paid the demonica any mind. The demonica went to Jesus and with great reverence-ish knelt.-Ernie Moore Jr.

One called Partor Renner says Jesus said repeatedly, then that Jesus failed; then the demon begged...However what is written has a different order.-Ernie Moore Jr. Lego is used to lat things out and the unclean spirit was speaking the ἔλεγεν was said by the spirit unclean who was pleading to not be punished which is why torment is said. Then the word at 1831 Strong's is not the word written. It resembles 1828 but I went with 1827 to punish. And so I looked-up tenses to refute Renner but I picked the wrong word than he was using but realized what might have been going on is Legion pleaded not to be tormented perhaps in the abyss, but Jesus used an aorist form od to punish or punishment effectively saying damn them forever-eternally (that's how I see the repeat or continuous part)...Jesus might have paused to listen to the pleading and found the resolution favorable since they were not to eat pig any way--the people were the evil and cleasnsed by using the tool of Legion to rid them of their sin of pigs..as the blind man awaited Jesus for his sight--a teachable moment perhaps.-Ernie Moore Jr.

4:48 PM 11/19/2020 I wont pick on the christians. Im an atheist. Legion is being portrayed as demons in the bible? Why was the word legion picked in the bible for this? I guess makes sense. Isnt the root of all evil Rome according to the bible or thats the higher power? I wouldnt know I didnt read the bible. The voice in my head said its how you interpret LEGION. I dont know what the story is with legion but going to make an assumption on something. How do I look at legion? I sided with the House of Julii in Rome. I stayed neutral of Octavians drama becoming Emperor. I agree though it should have went to Prince Caesarion not Octavian. Prince Caesarion would have brought two empires (Middle East through Egypt and Roman Empire) together and his name was on the succession list or inheritance till Octavian defeated Mark Anthony in Egypt and took it for himself. 13th Legion was loyal to Caesar and his son not Mark Anthony. I guess Im not different compared to legion. Not all of "us" are like that. Alot of people dont know what Im talking about. Gaius Julius Caesar got Queen Cleopatra of Egypt pregnant and had a son named Caesarion. Is this a coincidence Caesarions story matches this person named jesus christ in the bible? Like I said Im an atheist. People call this the illuminati bloodline because all these powerhouse families around the world not just the businessman corporation types but the Royal families are traced to this. You dont join the illuminati you are born into it through a bloodline. I sound dumb talking about this.

22:18 you say they wanted to self destruct. You said immediately which was used earlier in chapter five and as written might be like godspeed or really quick, but they ran and this cannot be considered immediate. Iif they traveled from a mountain down a slope to dive or fall only then in the water to choke where the pigs themselves would have drowned anyway they were not immediate killers. The violentness of impure spirits is not what you present, I say because you present the demon(s) controlled him but how does the man in a cave understand seeing Jesus--more likely the daemons saw, recognized, and ran to pay homage as the name of Jesus is above angels.
