Amen, yeah. I think he was probably hoping the Lord was going to go ahead and take him, but He decided to keep him here to continue shepherding his flock at his church. If anything, I wonder if his faith is even stronger now, albeit he still might be disappointed that the knife attack wasn’t fatal. Bishop Mar Mari is a holy man. The guy was trying to stab him in the head though. There’s a video online showing it. It was recorded live. Edit: I believe it was a switchblade that stayed retracted.

Look, I’m not orthodox, but I admire his boldness in unashamedly uplifting the real Jesus to the world. Okay, I can see why people may have issues with this message. I am not Catholic and I will not call you father, but I will call you my brother because I love and serve Jesus Christ and He has made us brother and sister in Him. He has plans for you. You are not ashamed of Him and you are willing to speak the gospel. However, my brother, I am worried for you and I will pray for you. That was not your mother and we are not to pray to Mary and the disciples nor bow down to idols. I know this offends and that is not my intent. You have been through a lot and have shown grace and mercy to your perpetrator, which will be shown to you in return at the proper time. I love you as my brother even though we have never met. Please seek God concerning these things. You say to be open. I ask the same of you to have God speak to you. I understand that as we walk in a closer relationship with Jesus Christ we become one with Him, but we are not God. It does seem like you have a few errors in your understanding, but don't give up! Seek God the Father about the things that people are bringing to your attention. It is possible to be wrong about something and we all are about something at some point. Just seek Him and His truth, as we ALL MUST, and trust HIS correction. He is correcting some things in my understanding, also. At least consider and pray about these things and ask God to show you what, if anything needs adjusted or corrected. Anyway, I write all of this in love and not with ill intent. Almighty God said ANYONE can USE their OWN WORDS and ACTIONS to REPRESENT their TRUE FACE. This TRUE APPEARANCE is, of course, their NATURE. ☀️ If you are someone who talks in a roundabout way, you have a twisted nature. If your nature is cunning, you act in a deceitful way, and you make it very easy for others to trick you. If your nature is fearsome, your words may be pleasant to listen to, but your actions cannot hide your fearsome tricks. ☀️ If your nature is lazy, everything you say is aimed at avoiding responsibility for your indifference and laziness, and your actions will be slow and casual, and very good at covering up the truth. ☀️ If your nature is empathetic, your words will be reasonable, and your actions will also be in accordance with the truth.
