Jesus Christ: The Mystery of His Skin Color

Russia opened its centuries old vaults with black biblical icons that reveal Jesus might have been black. The newly unveiled icons reveal Jesus, his mother Mary and other biblical figures as black. The portrayal of Jesus as a white European man has faced renewed scrutiny in recent times. This is regarding the legacy of racism in society and the pursuit of knowledge and truth as people search to understand their spirituality.
The exact physical appearance of Jesus remains unknown, as there are no existing images from his lifetime. Many Christians especially blacks over the years have always questioned why the image representation of Jesus has been white all along yet the bible says he was a Jew. The recent revelations emerging from Russia have sparked widespread conversations.

It's common sense he was dark skin as the climate in that part of the earth is very hot so it tanned the skin as it is past down from earlier generations

He is a Middle Eastern person. So if you want to confine it to a race of just choosing Black or White, then he is neither. However, he could be an Indian.

The Bible has clearly described the skin tone of Jesus as well as the Israelites. They are all black. Refer to the book of Jasher 17:5, Sussana 1:2, Songs of Solomon 1:5, Daniel 2:32 and Revelation 1:15, 2:18 first chapter. Also Judas decided to use a kiss to point out who Jesus was since Thomas [the doubting Thomas] had similar appearance as him and was regarded as the Twin of Jesus.

Why not focus on the 54 countries of Africa rather than been always Russia which is thousands of KM away, a place you have never been and people you have never met.
