This is quite possibly the story of Jesus that touches me the most. I think we have all felt like lepers - outcasts, unwanted, ashamed - at different times in our lives, and Jesus is the Only Person who dares to come near. Not only that, He reaches out and TOUCHES us with gentleness and the love we crave. Then, He takes our uncleanness upon Himself and gives us new white clothes. Hallelujah! THAT is the best news I have ever heard.
