Choosing freely to fall on your knees and give the most powerful of everything your all, is awesome. I know God himself thinks so! He doesn't want our money or talents or possessions, at the end of it all you'll come to realize all he ever wants is our hearts and souls to be with him for eternity. I never heard any more truth to my life than the Bible. You read it and follow, the words in there come alive and live up with the world and its events. Hope the best for you and God bless. By the way I'm writing this in the middle of my drug addiction that few know about. And I haven't talked to God in months. But tonight something happened and I felt him pulling at me hard and I just started crying. Feeling his presence inside me spiritually pulling greater than this physical drug addiction. I USED TO HAVE REALLY BAD ANXIETY. I would overthink things, I was scared to talk to girls one on one, I couldn't even raise my hand in a classroom because I was too scared of people judging me. And I had never been to church and I never really believed in God or anything like that and then one day I went to this Bible study at my school and I enjoyed it and then I started going every week and started to learn about who God really is. Then I started going to church and Bible studies and I started to seek Jesus by praying and reading the Bible thinking "if God is actually real, I'm going to see if it's true". And then that summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night the preacher said, "If anyone is going through anything or needs healing, I want you to come up to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front, got on my knees and I cried out to God and I said, "God if you're real if you can heal me from my anxiety help me get healed" and right then He spoke to me so clearly for the first time in my life and it was one of the only times I heard Him so clearly and He said, "I've healed you from your anxiety, and it's not going to come back" and right after that happened the preacher said if anyone got healed to come up on stage and tell everyone and right when he said that I INSTANTLY got up, went on stage and told like 900 people that God had healed my anxiety and He did. And that happened in the summer of 2019 and it hasn't came back since then and I know it won't because that's Who God is. He's the God of healing. The God of miracles. And He loves you so much. Now here's the most beautiful love story: Me and you? We have fallen short of the glory of God and we deserve hell. Because we have sinned against God and broken His commandments. And there's nothing we can do to gain heaven because heaven is perfect and me and you aren't. Now this is some devastating news! Well here's the good news: God loved us soooo much that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to the earth, to live a perfect life, not sinning ONCE, and then dying on a cross for YOU. He paid the penalty for your sin so that you could be able to go to heaven! How awesome is that?! All you have to do is turn away from your sin, believe in Jesus, and that He's in full control of your life that He rules over you and you serve Him, and believe that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved! It's not by works or being a good person. Jesus desires a personal relationship with you. Wow that is so incredible! Please turn to Him He loves you so much and so do I!! I have been given the boldness of Jesus now, and He has given you the same boldness! We will always have the choice to overthink and irrationalize, but we now have the Holy Spirit to help us! :)

For the past 3-4 years I've been dealing with depression and suicidal thoughts and felt so trapped. I never really payed attention at youth camp events but when they played this song about 2 years ago, the Holy Spirit which I didn't really know at the time grabbed my attention. This is my favorite worship song because I know full well it's talking directly to me that even with all my broken pieces I deserve Jesus and with Jesus comes freedom. I still have my struggles with my depression but I know the Lord is with me and now I'm given the chance to worship him playing for my church. My mind has been shrouded in darkness and now I am beginning to see and understand the gift God has given me. Something I have picked up is guitar, it was an elective I was put in, I didn't want to be in that class and for the first few months I hated it, I felt like it was the school trying to screw me over by putting me in the class. That was 3 years ago, now with the opportunities I have I see it was the Lord opening the door for me and I plan on sharing my gift in His name, on March 3rd I play for my church of nearly 300 people at the age of 16. I get to show everyone that even if you feel like you're worthless and unloved that the Lord is there to guide your path and love you even when you can't love yourself. I guess the moral of my story is that even when you don't love yourself the Lord will be there to love you and He will put you in uncomfortable situations to help you overcome your struggles and reveal your purpose, it may take a little prayer to understand but it'll all be ok. To anyone who actually read this story from a stranger on the internet, thank you for listening and remember you are loved. P.S Here's a verse that helps ease my mind when things get hard. Deuteronomy 31:8 "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed."

Something the Lord has spoken to me recently is this: "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM" 2 Corinthians 3:17 There is freedom in where God is calling you to be. Kind of like the song Sails by Bethel "I let out the sails of my heart, here I am here You are". Go where God is calling you to be and you will find freedom. The word Spirit in the Bible is the word wind, as in, it goes where it wants, cannot be controlled or manipulated. Let out the sails in your heart and let the wind of the Holy Spirit lead you to where you're supposed to be going. Don't expect to walk in freedom if you're not walking with the Spirit.

Reading the testimonies of how the Spirit has set people free from their pain is blessing my heart. Personally I'm healing from extreme physical, mental, sexual, and even religious abuse in my past. (I was born into a cult that tried it's best to destroy my relationship with the true God.) But I escaped it. Somehow, even though it was all I'd known, I just KNEW that what they were teaching couldn't really be God. Now that I've found the true God, I'm experiencing real healing from the PTSD, anxiety, and mental/emotional distress that all caused. God is real, and the Spirit is able to heal even your deepest wounds. I'm proof of this.
