Maybe all those people, besides the tourist, are very tired of visitors and tourist that it has affected their hospitality and kindness of heart! Christian churches at least here in America (USA, Mexico and South America) when we walk inside the church,we are due respect and reverence because the presence of God duels in them. We don’t even speak loudly inside a church, we don’t face our back to the altar out of respect of the presence of God in the Eucharist and we genuflect at the altar. So sad to see the lack of reverence of such a Holy ground. Viva Cristo Rey! You can ask me any question you might have about Christianity!! Not the synagogue but the Temple precinct which was about 35 acres / 14 hectares in size. The money changers and the vendors of sacrificial animals did their business in a 900 foot long mall at the precinct's south end, and he drove them all out of the precinct. He disrupted the temple business for the whole day, preventing people from carrying anything through the area. He couldn't have done this himself, he surely must have had the assistance of an expeditionary force and have been staging an insurrection. That means Barabbas was one of the participants! 😮 Worse, it was a ROMAN TEMPLE, with daily sacrifices on behalf of Caesar, and the high priest was appointed by the Roman governor. So his "cleansing of the Temple" was a _crimen maiestas,_ a crime against the State.
