pokey, five years ago you commented that you would take the old worship songs over the new any day. I was a little afraid to admit that I love the old choruses and the way we would explode with rejoicing as a church during those simple songs. There seems to be something lacking in today's complicated songs that we can't even sing along with. The bottom line is that people are comfortable just sitting in church listening to fancy songs. Maybe there is too much entertaining of the people and less of entertaining the presence of God. When I go to church, nobody is praising the Lord. When they play an old song, I am rejoicing all over the church, and I am still the only one! I hope you are well. God bless you.

I moved back to the west coast 8 months ago. I miss my church back in Connecticut. We sang the old, good time gospel songs like these, and many anointed songs by Israel and New Breed as well as other contemporary gospel artists. It really does matter who is singing because not all gospel songs can usher in the anointing, the healing and the deliverance. Hallelujah!

Shirley Caesar has soul, and is great don't get me wrong! One thing she does not have is Apostolic/Pentecostal anointing. When you have been baptized in Jesus name and fill with the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in other tongues you not only can praise God. You can worship him! For those that worship him MUST know who he is. The Bible says that those that worship must worship him in Spirit and in Truth. If you don't have truth you don't know God. Shirley Caesar can praise all day long but she CANNOT worship him she does not have the truth.

Praise Jesus Christ He is the Lord of Lord and King of Kings. He is and was God almighty and is also the Holy Ghost he is also the father and his name is Jesus Christ he is one and the same Amen. Father, Son, Holy Ghost, are titles not names and that is a no brainer. The holy Ghost has a name which is Jesus Christ, The Son has a name which is Jesus Christ, The father has a name as well which is Jesus Christ. The name of the son is not son. The name of the Holy is not Holy Ghost .Nor is the name of the Father, Father again a no brainer it is indeed clear Amen. I LOVE THE CHURCH BIG TIME.
