Iamhaving difficulty understanding the purpose of Jesus living on as a man after his crucifixion. I believe that Jesus carved a path for us to follow even unto our earthly death and our blessed and healed life on the other side. I believe the soldiers made sure Jesus was dead as he hung upon the cross and the tending to his body by his loved ones after he was taken down because he was dead. Even if for some unforeseen reason Jesus did survive his crucifixion I personally cannot see the purpose of us following his path to becoming ordinary again yet he was supposedly revered as Jesus again in India.
