Read this yesterday - "There are many more adventures to be had. There are many more battles to be fought. It would be such fun to be in them rather than read of them. Go! Write your own books. Go!" Jackie Pullinger, Introduction, Chasing the Dragon, 2001.

So encouraging! I love listening online to conversion testimonies of Jews and Muslims from around the world. Great idea reading first from Genesis. I’m American Christian, raised in church but truly saved at 30. I read straight through from Genesis to Revelation in a year so I couldn’t be led astray, and discovered it is a Jewish book front to back! Grafted in! Jesus is my King🙌🏼✝️🙏🏼❤️

Thank you both so much I needed to hear this. I have been wondering about God’s word reaching those Eastern countries. It seemed so hopeless because of the danger Christians are in, yet God is moving with brave disciples in small numbers. Also in the West what you say is true now and we must work in small numbers where churches are failing. God bless the ones that are strong in God’s word and I pray they can stay standing. 🙏

Great interview. I would love to hear about new discipleship groups / house churches started in London among the non-immigrant British. Betting shops sounds great. Phil talks about how people in Iran etc have grown up very aware of how to live under the radar of police states. House churches are natural to them. I have spent years reading archival material about how the Comintern (Communist International) infiltrated Spanish society in the 1931-6 period by spreading secret cells in factories, army barracks, among intellectuals etc. All those who met in cells were doers of the word. They existed for doing the stuff, not discussing it. That is the playbook for us.

I respect what you are doing on spreading love and the message of Jesus is to Love God , to know God’s Will , , to love our neighbor , and to love His commandments from literally page 1 of the Bible. David says in Psalms, I delight in your commandments( written in Hebrew , Torah ). I meditate on them day and night. All this and more makes God and His Son Jesus holy ( set apart ) from all other. It is good to spread God’s Words (Jesus said we must live by every Word that comes from God’s breath) . We must also remember His Chosen people , the Jewish people. Afghanistan, Iran Ect… would be very blessed countries when they open their hearts to love Jesus’ brothers. To know that they actually share the same father Abraham. Every Word Jesus speaks comes the Prophets of old. Thank you for courage and hope you do include Israel in your message. Jesus did . In Revelation 21 , the 12 tribes of Israel are there including all the nations.

From the get go: YES Wake Up West! You ARE, desperately, the "Mission Field". Unassuming, off the radar, empty hands YET "always enough" as Heidi Baker puts it. If you are called, let NOTHING and NOBODY stand in your way. Former missionary to Mozambique here. Maranatha!

I attend a home church. Often I am conflicted because I love and miss the Baptist church. Outreach and discipleship is much more effective in the home church. I can say that.

Yes!!! I have been reading about the Iranian discipleship method called Safar. I shared it with a friend of mine, whose advice was that it wouldn't work here. People aren't open because Christianity is considered the political enemy of progressives. This is encouragement that we need to keep witnessing here. This method involves discipleship of the one you just led to Christ. It is deliberate and somewhat intensive. This is what we need!!!

Please wake up and think there is something wrong with jesus story .I know there is a dark side to this story they hite something from us other wise we know who is jesus really are .I know he is the demon ..If he truely love us he should know there is suffering in the world and do something about it ..his promise is a lie he is gone forever never return
@rodbfg8357Күн бұрын
@@sioelifakaatathank you for your honest comment. I suggest you say these same words to God as a prayer, but ask God to reveal Jesus to you, make him realise you. Be humble enough to ask with a heart ready to receive and I believe you will get a response. Especially ask what Jesus has done about suffering because you are right - if he has done nothing, his promise is empty. Isaiah's prophecy 500 years before Christ, says: "He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief ... He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Upon him was the chastisement that makes you whole, and with his stripes (lashes) you are healed" Read Isaiah 52:13 to 53:12. Or you can carry on listening to nonsense and speaking out of ignorance. It's your choice, he won't force himself on you. But he is always ready to listen to you if you're a genuine seeker.
