I can remember our electricity got shut off in the middle of summer in Texas. We went three days without electricity. My husband was in the cool because he could go to his work, but I was at home alone with no air conditioning or anything. But the Lord gave me the strength to endure it, and a praise Him name. I spent the day in the tub with cool water and listen to my phone play worship music. I would charge it up in the car. And at night we slept on the hard cool stone in the entryway. But God gave us peace and calmness and he was with us. You never understand that he’s all you need, until he’s all you’ve got.
