I am 57, and my life has always been around the church. I come from a very large family so needless to say that sometimes comes with a lot of death. At a early age 7,8and 9 I lost 3 brothers 3 years in a roll. Then grandparents, uncles and aunts. Cousin, nephews lord have mercy just didn’t seem to stop. Then at age 21 lost my best friend in the world, my father. Then more uncles, and aunts, then school mate’s. Just when I thought I had this all figured out, my reason, my strength my everything for living past, my mother. At that point I began to wonder away from the church in the physical, not knowing how much that was hurting me internally. So I counted on my other sisters to fill all my mama moments and they did. I began to regain my way. Then my brother who had been in and out of the family reunited full time and it was absolutely beautiful after about 8 years later he past, 2 years after that my sister mother died. My world crumbled and as I was trying to prepare for her service I heard this song and something arose up inside of me, I am here today alive today because of Jesus Jesus Jesus!
