Amazing record. Definitely ahead of their time, no one pushed the boundaries of hardware samplers like these guys did back then, makes me think limitations imposed by technology were a good thing to have back at that time.

Their first album came out right when I graduated from high school. The Devil You Know came out when I was in college. I worked at a record store throughout college, and i was so psyched about this album coming out. I keep telling my 13 year old son that I feel sorry for him and his generation. When it comes to music, the last 15 to 20 years has sucked so badly! All there is to listen to on the radio is pop, and pop country. My generation (Generation X) had pop, country, alternative, metal, rock, rap, r&b, hip hop...it goes on and on! There isn't even any alternative anymore! I dont even listen to the radio anymore. Unless it is satellite radio, and even then I keep it on the 90s station, metal and alternative.

I still have theirs albums (Doubt and Perverse) on piracy casettes. Same thing with EMF and Utah Saints. I will never throw these tapes out. Great music and a great souvenir from the era.

I didn't like his music but I always thought this was brilliant. sad that Noone saw it .fucking great ..30 years later it's one of my favorite songs and vids .amazing. I still watch it and people say what the fuck? ya don't know like they didn't know then ...
