I notice in this video for the main melody at A (on the left hand), you go between C and D and then B and C then down to A and C whereas on the sheet music it stays on D as it walks down from C to A and then switches to a fifth. Is what you played in the video or what is written on the sheet music your original intent?

The video version is correct. When did you buy your copy of the music? It may be that you have an old version.
