Most Americans are very ignorant to the customs and cultures of other countries. the free will argument fails miserably. It dosnt explain natural disasters like earthquakes, floods or hurricanes or things like disease. Also, dont christains believe that heaven is an example of a place with only good but people have free will? So god can obsiously make a place like that, but he chose not to because he is immoral. 2. I loved the words written outlining the names and attributes of Jesus, and as He is THE WORD (John 1:1) of God this is good, but to blot out THE WORD with an image of a man is not good. No artist has ever captured the portrait of Jesus, (except 1 that tradition has that goes back to the 1st Century of a Mosaic in St Catherines Monastery in the Sinai showing King Abgar of Edessa with Drawing of Jesus he received after he had been healed by Thaddeus one of the 70 sent by Thomas.)

All 'gentile' means is 'nation', which includes all the people of earth apart from the Jews. The Romans were gentiles. Cornelius and his family to whom Peter went were gentiles. @TheCapitalVillain Look, I do not pretend that I have all the answers to the universe. All of this goes back to a fundamental question: Is there a God? and if so, who is he and what does he want? As much as i would love to keep fighting to get you to see God's love, it isn't me and my answers that will save you. God is the only one who can save anyone. I would recommend reading The Case for Christ by C.S. Lewis. Not only is it an interesting read, but it also might answer many of your questions

I could ask the same question to those who believe in the theory of evolution. Why don't we see evolution happening today? In Darwin's Black Box and The Case for Creation the author/interviewees are/were scientists. So they can't really have a "profound misunderstanding" of the way science works. @netmoney Lol, that's what I meant by the only thing that is nothing is nothing. Since there's no such thing as nothing, then nothing is meaningless, or in other words, means nothing. The physical law "Nature abhors a vacuum" alone pretty much guarantees that there will never be nothing. Even the void of space is cluttered with sparse dusts, cosmic radiation, radio waves, etc. Just because we can't see it doesn't mean it's not there, just like God, really.

@whereismygracejesus Well, it seems that we don't have the same creator, if Jesus was not sent, if he didn't die, all of the Gentiles and Jews would be under the old covenant, but Jesus' blood made the new covenant a done deal. I enjoyed this... What this believer has drawn is a symbol of Jesus the Son. The truth is that Jesus has, amongst many other attributes, a historical presence, not only on record for his good works in the Bible, but also in other texts that were written at that time he walked on earth. What this artist is wanting to portray is Jesus the Man. God has revealed himself to us in three ways... as God the Father, Jesus the Son and through His Holy Spirit, which He freely imparts to all who believe.

I am a Roman Catholic, and Truly Believe that Jesus was very FUNNY while here on earth. After all, Jews are the best comedians. I don't know who took all of His funny lines out of the New Testament BUT but I'd wager it was some dour Lutheran in the1700's. I think that Jesus used laughter to attract all the love and all the people to Him. He must have been a laugh riot during that wedding when he changed water to wine - proves to me that he was a total party animal!!!

Why doesn't God get rid of satan? Do you think he can't do it? Of course he can. He's the almighty. If he can't eliminate satan, then that would mean he's not all that almighty. I think he's busy with other things and just hasn't gotten around to kicking satan out of the universe. But then again, maybe he thinks satan is good for recruitment to the church. People are scared of satan & so they join up with Jesus. Good thinking, God!
