I just wanted to say I had an aneurysm burst in my brain in January of this year and he was sitting right beside me. I never got to see his face but he told me it was not my time yet and I love Jesus with all my heart. So it doesn't matter about his looks. He is beautiful. He was beautiful, not at all like either version showed on here. He was tall, about 6’5 if I were to guess, and his voice was gentle. I has a book when I was a child (and still have it). In it, they used a letter from a Roman soldier, I believe, who said and I'm paraphrasing because the book is put away, that He was fairly tall and straight. His skin was olive without blemish. He had long chestnut hair but His eyes were described as clear and dark, with great love and power in them. He had a charismatic smile and a wonderful voice. I love the description. It's not for us, who by faith believed in Him to distinctly know how He looked like, but by Holy Spirit who gives us, firstly the conviction, and secondly the revelation of Him who lives on the throne forever. We have never physically seen Him, but by faith the Holy Spirit made Him known to us. There were many instances where even people of His time in Israel, never knew who He really was, and to some extent how He looked like. It took Peter to receive the reveaation from above who to reveal JESUS, while all the other fellow disciples did not know who He really was. I can appreciate this from both an analytical and technological perspective. I had an open vision of Jesus. Yes, He had dark skin, skinny face ( first that got my attention), dark hair up to shoulders (thick, a little wavy and messy looking), dark mustache, dark small beard and very dark, very powerful (like cutting through you) eyes! The best resemblance of Him I could find later on were Ethiopian men. He didn’t talk, just looked at me with enormous strength ( judging in the beginning). He was alive. I saw only His face up to upper chest. In the end, the eyes became warmer. The vision lasted like 40 seconds. That vision brought me back to God.

NO! Jesus is described as a Nazarene meaning His hair were never shaved even from birth. That's why He is often depicted in images as having long hair, dropping to His shoulders. i saw a short vision of Jesus when i was laying down on my back in my bed about 9 hrs ago when i was going through so much suffering by deep depression and anxiety that i’ve had my whole life, I closed my eyes and i was not sleeping just my eyes resting and in a flash i saw jesus like in a field in front of me with his arms open and smiling, like waiting for me, he was not white but he did have shoulder length hair (dark) and a beautiful smile, he did look like the regular jesus that people paint, but not this ridiculously good looking jesus from this video green eyes. There are only two historic references mentioning what Jesus looked like. They both mention him 6' with golden hair with blue eyes looking a little lighter colored than his Mother. It's one of the reasons the Jews refused to acknowledge he was the Messiah. His skin darkened and tanned from the sun light brown hair bleached by the sun looks golden. References on how he looked came from Pilots letter to Ceaser and one from court records at the time.

Hmmm, interesting interpretation however, you assumed a few things that I feel made your image flawed. You first assumed that the hair would be short. In those days a great many nations did not cut their hair. He was Nazarine and even though a few say he didn't take the vow he still grew up in that region. In order to be welcomed then people would look like their neighbours. This is evidence of this today still. We move to anyplace and before long we look like the cultural norm of the region. So no matter if he touched and preach differently he would still need to look the same or he would have been automatically dismissed and no one would hear him. So, long hair stays Teeth. You assumed modern dentistry is a saviour of teeth however, historical evidence proves that teeth in history were indeed in better shape than modern teeth. Stronger, no cavities, perfectly straight. Ancient Egyptians had a protocol of sorts, on teeth health and valued those who had good teeth= good health. So they used foods and herbs to give this good teeth result. Other historical cultures did as well. Mayans teeth recently discovered were by far better than ours today. They didn't eat pounds of sugar and processed foods. Vitamin k2 was much higher in the diets and historians found skulls with teeth in many other areas where their teeth were in far better shape than most modern teeth. So, he has a very good likelihood that he would have had good teeth. If you look at the Jewish people they are indeed a lighter colour skin. I agree the blue eyes are a good possibility to not use but I personally never seen a Jesus with blue eyes. Yours is the first I've ever seen, always seen with brown eyes. So how dark of the flesh colour really depends since Jews are a lighter skin colour. Plus the UV damage we see from the sun today would not be the same as it was then because today we have high UV rate then what would be back then, AND it would not effect the flesh quite like it does to us today. As a kid I was outside with my family all day everyday working. They never had leathery skin, none of us did. We never looked older in fact we all look younger than our age. We all have oily skin types so that plays a role in skin protection too. So, with skin type, less UV damage from lower UV rating from sun and no air pollution, no food pollution, may or may not have oily skin. You assumed again that he would have wrinkled leathery skin based on our current atmosphere and pollution not on the quality of air and food back then. Chances are he was not wrinkled leathery skin. As for his colour that really is depending on if his parents were of the lighter skin shade. A darker complexion from the sun doesn't mean he was black , he could still have been an olive tan colour as most tan skin of that region is. In the summer I get dark very dark. Many mistake me for latino, even Indian people have assumed I am Indian as well. However, in winter I am very lighter colour brown. However, my daughter is white. Very pale skin and in the sun all summer she still does not tan, at all, nothing changes. Gets red then still white. So, not everyone changes colour with time in the sun. So, the possibility that his skin colour remains constant is there. Look at all the people whos family never left Israel, what shade are they? Not white but not black either. So your assumption of his skin colour is also very possible to be incorrect. This one has quite a larger range of possibilities. Then there is eyewitnesses from a death experience and their description of Jesus is the same to each other that I have heard. And their description isn't what you created. Voice... Well testosterone was by far higher back then so men would sound quite deeper in tone. Today's testosterone is very low in comparison so men's voices are higher today then even 70 years ago. Imagine back in a healthy dose of testosterone men's voices would be deeper. In conclusion, skin could very possibly be a light colour as many Jews are, to a possible olive tan colour to even darker brown shade. This one has a larger range of possibilities. I am thinking he would be similar to the current Jewish skin we see . Eyes most likely brown. Skin most likely not wrinkled like a 90 year old and most likely not leathery. Hair would most likely be longer as per the cultural norm. Voice is quite probable to be deeper since testosterone back then was much, much higher than it is today. As for looks, he would need to fit in to the cultural norm of the area. Especially if he has a big message that contradicts other accepted doctrine. He would need people to hear him so, what we see in Jewish people today is most likely what he would resemble.

We have pictures of people from a long time ago and they do have the same features and skin tone as today.
