But can we pray for our loved ones who died that did not accept Jesus? Hopefully someone can explained and give wisdom on this.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏

Hi, po. I understand where you are coming from. It is indeed painful that some of our loved ones did not or will not make it to heaven. If we study Jesus' Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus, we will learn some important truths about this matter. First is, those who ended up in hell cannot enter heaven anymore. In Luke 16:24-26, we see the rich man appealing to Abraham to have Lazarus dip his finger in the water then cool the rich man's tongue with it, since he was in agony because of the fire. Pero ang reply ni Abraham sa parable, "...Between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us." This brings us to the second truth about the matter: We should pray for our loved ones' salvation WHILE they are still alive, not when they are already dead. In Luke 14: 27-29, nag appeal ulit ang rich man kay Abraham na balaan 'yung mga natitira niyang kapatid tungkol sa hell, since hindi niya gusto na matulad sila sa kaniya sa huli. And ang reply ni Abraham, "They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them." Which is why, while we still can, and while they are still alive, we should both pray for the salvation of our loved ones and share the Gospel with them, because once they are dead, we cannot do anything about it anymore. But some encouragement lang po sa inyo, brother/sister: the salvation of our loved ones, and of other people, for that matter, DOES NOT depend on us. Yes, we can help by sharing the Gospel with them, but ultimately, people's salvation completely depends on the Lord. Sabi nga po sa Romans 9:15-16, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy." I hope this has helped you, brother/sister.

It has no point to pray for deads because they are in different place right now waiting for judgement and nothing that we can do for them to be saved. That is why its important for us to remember (and this is also reminder for me) that spreading the gospel is important as the time still running and people still can make choice. When we face death there are no more choice than to face judgment, either we will be in heaven (for those who already saved) or eternal death (for the unbeliever). ❤
