Thank you Eric. I have been loving the Word, delving into the magnificence of it. But, I felt my 1st love, my intimacy, not quite there. And I knew where to come to stir it up again. Thank you. “Ways to know that you are in 1sr love with Jesus: 1. No body and nothing captivates your heart like Jesus: more excited about Jesus eg In Revelation you have lost your first love” they missed the heart of the issue, loving Jesus 100%: Commends their toil and doctrine and not tolerating evil men, and disciplined (duty) 2. Time with Him is above everything else. Jesus captivates my heart more than anything else: time with Him is more important than anything else. (Two people in love are crazy 😂..spend every waking hour possible, together). ‘The ways of a man with a woman 3. His Word means more to you than that of other people. The Bible is a window to see His face...the weight of His Presence..each word is so precious. What do You want to say today? I’m staring at His Face (eg love letters not read) 4. His desires mean more to you than your desires eg 1 Cor 7: picture of marriage, the man laying down his life to please his wife I’m choosing to live my life Choose My feet Captivate my heart, again A.W.Tozer wouldn’t let anything get between him and.his personal and enjoyment of the person of Jesus.”.

Hey Eric, I've become every passionate about the presence of Jesus and his person. I've grown up a Christian but he's become even more real than anything lately. Someone I know said I need a balance in my theology and the importance to give attention to the father and the holy Spirit too. What would you say to something like that?

I was in the very same situation as you but I found that when I got really close to Jesus, He, Himself started to intruduce the Father to me, and naturally got very close to the Father without even trying... Jesus IS THE DOOR to the Father, so if you get to know the door you will also find the Father.... and the Holy Spirit naturally becomes your best friend because He is the one that stirrs your love for Jesus and enlightens you to how amazing Jesus is in everyday life.
