I am German myself and have learned enough English on YT so far, even to understand it spoken with Justins velocity (compare Billy Crone also). 😉 Germans are under American occupation since WW2 they should have learned the world language No. 1 since then, especially the pastors who are responsible for the German speaking flock. After his resurrection why did Mary not recognize him and thought he was the gardener?

Because she was probably completely preoccupied with extreme stress and mourning after having just witnessed her baby boy beaten severely with ripped flesh and horrific wounds to the point he was unrecognizable without being able to protect him or help him, compounded with the fact that she was pregnant with him as a virgin. She was likely overwhelmed with so many emotions and thoughts especially disbelief and dispair… she didn’t see the transfiguration in his glory she didn’t fully understand who he was. Remember it said “Mary pondered all of these things in her heart” she was trying to figure him out. Anyhow as a mother I would have been totally preoccupied with my thoughts and grief I wouldn’t have expected to see my son appear in the flesh…
