I remember talking to Jehovah's witnesses saying to them they should open up the kingdom halls to help the homeless and the hungry they fire back to me the kingdom halls are places of workship to Jehovah there was not a kind spirit among them very cold unloving people

my family within the religion cannot answer the question if they act with compassion and humble outside the preaching work to people outside the congregation, they will say Yes straight away, my follow up question, when was it the last time you treated someone outside the congregation that you have never met, the same as a circuit overseer coming to your congregation that you have never met? they will be stumped and not respond. then my family just respond.... "you should not think like that" haha

Being a JW I really love your video. I once made the comment that each and every one of us can be Babylon the Great as soon as we claim to be believers and at the same time not act according to Gods command’s of love. That’s why I really dislike the way they use the term Babylon the Great so frequently. We have to be very careful that we do not label things that are good as works of the Devil. Or else we might commit a grave sin against the Holy Spirit. Love all who love God and love their fellow man. And be humble, knowing we all are sinners and need the mercy of God. The reason I still am a witness? I grew up in it, so did my family, they thought me to love God and it’s religion is in every fiber of my body, yet that does not mean that I condemn any other religion.

You sound like me. Not really a JW because you're not abiding by the Watchtower's rules. My father was one of the anointed and the religion he taught me was one of love and humility. I didn't find out until I was much older how the Watchtower operates in a very different worldview, one of judgement and superiority. I applaud your willingness to follow what you know to be right.

But the bible is just a book of stories written by a people trying to.understand the world around them, all the nations of that period did the same thing! That why you have all those other gods, Jahweh and Jesus just other gods created by the Jews, that why the old testament has so many wars, battles, because the Jews needed a war God, so Yahweh was imagined by them. The stories under scrutiny don't make any sense whatsoever, might as well believe in modern fairy tales too if you going to believe bible stories. People just need to live their best lives, and stop condemning themselves to some fake heaven or he'll.because of stupid, illogical, irrational, senseless religious doctrines. And Yes I was JW and SDA too, thank goodness I am truly now free!

One of my favorite chapters in the Bible is Matthew 7. Recently, an individual who is a Jehovah's Witness was bothering me online to the point of bullying. They kept questioning my comments and repeating them back to me in the form of a question. I explained to them that I am an apostate from WBTS and asked why they were engaging with me. They replied, "I'm not engaging necessarily," but then continued to bother me. Eventually, I suggested that they read the entire chapter of Matthew 7. However, they responded by saying that it didn't apply to them.

Even the western christian church doesn't always get it and gets lost in complexities and too tied up in doctrine. Jesus was just doing and helping others to see these truths. It's so easy to get too attached to ideas not just things and take them personally.

Why did I think that you were an atheist? Maybe one of the biggest obstacles that the Watchtower had was the printing of too many magazines and books. They needed to be filled with something and they just went way overboard. It’s similar to their assemblies. They take one topic and make the whole assembly fit around that. Hours and hours talking about the one thing. The worst habit was to have so many scriptures fit the theme and that required a lot of twisting. But selling mags and books was their lifeline, now that has changed, they are simplifying some of their doctrines so much to the point that they are now saying they just don’t know.

Almighty GOD YHVH Appointed his son Crist Jesus to be the correct judge for the intire human society.. including the GB. Because they are imperfect humans too. CRIST make the correct evaluation of each one of us... individually based on and only one principal. Repentance. Nice job. And lest we forget; Samaritans were "apostate Jews"! They chose to defect from worship at the temple in Jerusalem and set up their own system of worship at Mt. Gerazim, I think it was. But Jesus approached the Samaritans deliberately; because he saw good in all people. Oh but far be it from a JW to talk to apostates!! To them, "apostasy" is those who leave their religion and worship somewhere else!

Catholic Church is the only church founded by Jesus Christ. History, old churches, relics, apostolic succession, etc., are some of its proofs that it is indeed founded by Christ. In the eyes of protestants, it may not be perfect but is there a perfect church? Perfect church need no redemption. Catholic is perfect not because of its people or doctrines but because it was founded by Christ and Jesus bought it with His blood ( acts 20:28, Mathew 16:16-18, eph. 5:23). Thus, it was Jesus's blood that made it " perfect and clean".

History, 1st century Christianity, a 1st century Governing Body (apostolic succession), etc., are some of its proofs that Jehovah's Witnesses are indeed founded by Christ as the only true religion. In the eyes of so-called Christians, WT may not be perfect but is there a perfect church? "God's Organization" needs no redemption. Watchtower is perfect not because of its people or doctrines but because it was founded by Christ in 1919, and Jesus chose Watchtower out of all religions on earth as the only true religion. Did you take on board anything Jon has said 🤔 You don't need any religious organisation, they all interpret the bible to fit their own beliefs especially JW who as Jon explains keep having to change their beliefs because none of their do called predictions have come true. This is because its the governing body of JW making up the rules rather thanJesus teaching. I was a JW for nearly 20 years so I know this to be true & the reason I left the organisation. As Jon has explained so siimply Jesus teachings are very simple to following & no religious organisation is needed. If every person followed Jesus example the world would be a different place.
