He was definitely not vegan little bro. 2) Jesus did not oppose animal sacrifice. That's not what he was mad about. He was mad that people were effectively pay walling worship at the temple. Jesus would not have opposed animal sacrifice, as in the Old Testament (specifically the Torah), the LORD literally details how animal sacrifices are supposed to go. 3) Ah yes, the Gospel of Thomas, a late and unreliable gnostic text. A perfect source for info on Jesus. 4) She was not cooking with the retellings argument. The Gospels were all written by eyewitnesses or close associates of eyewitnesses. Its not oral tradition that got passed down for centuries before it was finally written down. Someone could badly hurt u again and again but not kill u, it still fits the definition. And at least in the west, animals killed for food die in less than 5 seconds. They are not hurt severely and continuously. Second, she says that animals are “murdered” which is defined as “the unlawful killing of a… human being. Not a cow. Yes, they are killed bc that’s just defined as ending smth’s life, but they are cows, not ppl, so that definition is inherently wrong. Jesus of Nazareth (the man who traveled around Galilee at about the year 30 AD, claimed he was the Son of God, and was executed by Rome, his existence is historical record outside of any other beliefs anyone might or might not have about him) may have likely favored a plant based diet, vegetarian or more likely pescatarian, but we know a few things for sure: 1. In that region, at that time, the 3 most common drinks were water, wine, and sheep/goat milk, and the most common desserts of any kind used honey as its main sweetener. 2. He was Jewish, the meal known as the "Last Supper" was most likely a Passover Seder, which, in that time and place, would have served lamb as its main dish. 3. The most common profession among his closest followers was fisherman, and he recruited many of them himself after greatly increasing their catch for the day, which would be abetting the murder of thousands of fish according to this crazy lady. 4. Jesus was close to his relative known as John the Baptist, a man who certainly wasn't vegan as he ate nothing but locusts and honey.

@@nova_squim_youtube That's the joke. Veganism is unrealistic diet for most people, even in modern times. He was supposedly incarnated God. He could create any food, but he wasn't there to teach people unrealistic message of life. We fast, we feast, but it only matters if it makes us closer to God. This verse destroys vegans preaching that Christian must be vegan: "As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living. Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; for it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then each of us will give an account of himself to God. Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus that nothing is unclean in itself, but it is unclean for anyone who thinks it unclean. For if your brother is grieved by what you eat, you are no longer walking in love. By what you eat, do not destroy the one for whom Christ died. So do not let what you regard as good be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Whoever thus serves Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men. So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding. Do not, for the sake of food, destroy the work of God. Everything is indeed clean, but it is wrong for anyone to make another stumble by what he eats. It is good not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything that causes your brother to stumble. The faith that you have, keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who has no reason to pass judgment on himself for what he approves. But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin." Romans 14:1-23

The teachings of Jesus regarding respect for life and vegetarianism appear to have been deliberately reinterpreted over time. The miracle of the 153 fish in the Gospel of John (21:11) is clear evidence that connects Jesus' teachings with the Pythagorean tradition. The number 153 is not an arbitrary detail; in Pythagorean numerology, it is intimately linked to the vesica piscis (literally "bladder of fish"), a geometric figure formed by the intersection of two circles, symbolizing creation, unity, and fullness. The very name vesica piscis establishes a direct connection to the fish in the Gospel passage, strengthening the link between Jesus' teachings and Pythagorean symbolism. In this context, the number 153 cannot be dismissed as a mere numerical detail. The scene where Jesus tells his disciples they will be "fishers of men" should be understood as a call to abandon literal fishing, an activity that involves the death of animals, in favor of a higher spiritual mission. The deliberate use of the number 153 is no coincidence: it appears as a direct reference to Pythagorean principles of harmony and respect for life, which are foundational to vegetarian ethics. This symbolic connection is too strong to ignore. Another irrefutable fact is the historical existence of the Ebionites, an early Christian vegetarian group. The practice of vegetarianism among the Ebionites cannot be explained without a clear foundation in Jesus' original teachings. The Jews of that era did not practice vegetarianism as a cultural or spiritual norm, so the emergence of vegetarian Christians indicates a solid root in the ethical principles of the early Christian community. This group did not arise by accident; their existence is concrete evidence that vegetarianism was integral to Jesus' original message, even though it was later marginalized or distorted. The current Christian practice during Easter provides further evidence supporting this line of thought. In the Jewish tradition, the Passover lamb was central to the celebration, symbolizing the sacrificial offering prescribed in the Torah. After the destruction of the Second Temple, Jews stopped consuming lamb as a practical sacrifice but retained the symbolism of the lamb in their Passover traditions. However, it is important to note that Jews do not abstain from eating meat during this period. In stark contrast, Christians not only abandoned the literal consumption of the Passover lamb but also established a well-known tradition of abstaining from meat during Easter, particularly in Lent and on Good Friday. This practice, often overlooked in its origins, is difficult to explain without connecting it to the teachings and symbolism of Jesus. If Jesus' death symbolically replaced the sacrificial lamb, it logically follows that his teachings carried an implicit rejection of meat consumption as part of a broader spiritual transformation. This message, clearly understood in the early years of Christianity, later evolved into symbolic rituals like the Lenten practice of abstaining from meat. Finally, if we consider the historical context, it is clear that vegetarianism has always faced tremendous resistance, both in the past and the present. Ideas about changing dietary practices and respecting animal life touch deep cultural and emotional roots, making their transmission and acceptance difficult. However, the very fact that we can reconstruct these logical connections today-through symbols like the number 153, the vesica piscis, and the existence of vegetarian groups such as the Ebionites-demonstrates that Jesus' original message was far more aligned with an ethic of respect for life. This is not a mere hypothesis: it is an argument supported by symbolic, historical, and logical evidence.

Yup, and Jesus was observing the remembrance meal for that event during the last supper. That's why unleavened bread is used for communion.

Wait til she learns that we used to sacrifice lambs to wipe away our sins until Jesus came to Earth to sacrifice Himself so that we don’t have to sacrifice animals anymore.

Gosh, i wonder if she knows that a couple hundred years before Jesus's birth, His Father told moses to say to the Israelites, "kill a lamb, eat it, and paint its blood on your doorframe so the angel of death may 'passover' you and your house." Thats literally what the passover feast is. A celebration of being passed over by the Angel of Death. To celebrate Gods mercy to those who followed His instructions and survived.

3:15 "humans Eating Meat Is Something They should do, is Expected Actually" Yeah, what else would we live off of, Leaves? Also, you Cannot Convince me Ms. vegan Mad lady Isn't insane. I Also think Gaslighting People Into thinking Jesus is vegan is stupid. Even if she was right, about Jesus being Vegan, it'd probably Go Along the lines of:" Dang it! She's Right😔 We have to Re-Write the Whole bible again! Welp let's get to it..." Like no, That's not happening. Just no.

Ok a few thoughts; blessing and multiplying the loaves and fish (not telling people not to eat fish), eating broiled fish after resurrection, taking part in Passover seders (not vegan), and declaring all food clean (having no problem with people eating animal products). What first century Israeli Jew was vegan?? 😂

Technically, we will ALL be vegan in heaven. The Bible states that there IS only fruit to be eaten IN heaven. Outside of that, no Jesus wasn't a vegan.
