“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
This verse shows that God loves you and created you for a life that is full and meaningful (John 10:10)!
Why is it that most people are not experiencing this abundant life? Because all of us sin, and our sin has separated us from God (Romans 3:23).
We were created to have fellowship with God, but because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own way, and our fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is what the Bible calls sin.
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Death is spiritual separation from God.
God is holy and people are sinful, and a great gulf separates us. We are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but we fail.
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives! Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6), and is the only way to God (John 14:6). God has bridged the gulf that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
We must individually receive Jesus Christ through faith as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth.
Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him” (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.
Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here is a suggested prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

Jesus is God and man. He wept, felt hunger, pain, and sorrow like any human, but he performed many miracles that only God himself could do. He healed people from every sort of illness and fixed every single disability that he came upon with a single touch and in some cases, just by one's own faith in him. He fed five thousand people in an instant with just five small loaves of bread and two small fish. He raised the dead back to life with just the call of his voice. Not even science can do that without creating a world ending scenario. Yes Jesus died but wasn't it foretold that he would die and come back to life three days later? If Jesus didn't die, then there would be no Resurrection and no one will enter Heaven. "For God so loved the world, he gave his one and only son so that whoever believed in him will not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16 Tell me, how many kings, noble men, and billionaires have willingly given up their extravagant way of living and died this way in order for us to enter Paradise with them? How many of these people have died and returned to this world? How many of them agreed to take on a punishment that destroyed their bodies before dying and returning to save us several days later? How many have managed to replicate the same miracles that Jesus did with just the touch of their skin or the beckoning of their mouths? If you know any that have, then tell me and prove me and the Holy Spirit wrong. As far as I know and have lived for, not a single man has done so and I will stand by this till the day I'm called by the Lord.
