I'm sure the initial deal wouldn't be much. They could've gotten in deeper with Stern, and negotiated for more. But, with the lack of talent it didn't matter. Signed first offer, a single or two with Epic, and done- they would've ended up in suicide anyway. It wasn't about the money, they had a rich mommy and daddy.

You'd think that two identical twins would be able to sing the same note together... even if that note was the wrong one... Yep, he couldn't care less about music. He only care about radio and rating to get his dream of fame and the star treatment. He is fake about everything. Jackie said on a podcast "when I met Howard he could care less about music. That was Dee Snyder..." (source podcast had boring in the name) Then we consider he didn't start to try to play music until late in life and that didn't go anywhere and he dropped it. Early 80's he has short hair then but dye in it. He talked about that on air. At the end of "US Open Sores" he can be heard talking with Robin about wearing a wig.
