If I were in her situation, I'd also prefer to focus my energy into stage performances instead of interviews. Because fans (and people in general who want to see you live) are buying tickets to see your power and they deserve the best of you. Interviews however, are (mostly) about promoting each other (for fans to promote the radio and television shows and for the listeners/watchers to promote the artist). It's just a casual thing, not many people care about, to be honest. The interviewers ask questions over and over again about things, true fans already know, doing boring games (which have nothing to do with your work/projects) or want to make you saying things you didn't mean at all. On stage, you're with your fans, with your family, if you will, so you can release your true self and feel free in front of the beloved fans who love you in return.

I think it's because they get asked stupid questions in interviews about boyfriends and stuff like that, Jesy doesn't like that and I don't blame her. Michael never liked interviews cause they would ask him stupid questions too, they hardly make them talk about their music and more about their relationships and all that, it's ridiculous cause you would think people would be more fascinated by the art
